Teleflex does an incredible job manufacturing inexpensive (relatively) steering systems. The really have things well sorted. The quick cable release is a welcome addition compared with the older Teleflex systems I have.My only suggestion is to use a lot of grease on the mild steel shaft when you install the wheel, and spray the die cast aluminum housing with some clear paint. The construction materials used at the helm station are very reactive to salt water.Other than that, highly recommend.
