This headshell is a perfect match for the Denon DL-103R cartridge which performs at it's peak with a high tonearm mass. There are a couple of small points to consider however...* This headshell is almost TOO adjustable. Every adjustment angle is only locked down with a single set screw so you have to get it right all at once.* It's nice and square so it's easy to square up a cartridge of the same shape such as the Denon DL-103(R)* It's so heavy that you will need to make your own counterweight since even the supplimentry counterweight included with the Technics SL-1200mk2 was not heavy enough. If my memory serves me, I needed to add about 36g behind the adjustable weight.
