This is one sturdy newspaper holder. It is a bit heavy to move around, but I forgive it for that because the thing holds a ton of newspapers and is virtually indestructible.

I had a similar metal container to hold my newspapers for years that finally broke. I purchased this product as a replacement and it is much sturdier than my old one. The construction feels very solid and it more than does its job.The only thing I don't like about it is that it is slightly larger than your standard size newspaper which means that papers will jostle and move slightly if you transport the collector with a stack of newspapers in it. I find that somewhat annoying as I keep the collector on the second floor of my house but carry the whole thing down on days the recycling is picked up.Overall, though, it's a well constructed and useful product with just the one slight annoyance.
