Hypro Pressure Pump

This is a replacement pump for my power washer. I have been using this model pump for 30+ years and using my power washer more days than not. In other words I put a lot of hours on these pumps. Perhaps the best AM CB out there!

There are a lot of CB radios out there and the Cobra 29 LTD Classic has stood the test of time. It comes with the traditional chrome detailed brushed aluminum faceplate that really shows off this radio. But the true quality is in the radio itself. I have owned plenty of CBs in the past 30 years including some top-end AM/sideband CBs as well as a few export radios, and as far as a straight AM 40 channel CBs, this is one that really shines above the others. The most impressive features in this radio are its sensitivity in receiving, even while the Noise-Blanker and/or Automatic Noise Limmiter circuits are engaged. And these circuits actually eliminate static and engine-generated noise...unlike some other radios. Overall, the 29LTD Classic is perhaps the best inexpensive AM CB out there!

A classic that stands on it's merits

This CB has been considered one of the best for years, and rightfully so. When you get a strong signal, the speaker is loud at full and clear through the volume range. That, I did not expect.The CB also calibrates well to your antenna. Originally I got bad SWR and reception, but I fixed the antenna and got 1:1.2 across all channels. Eventually I'll mount it differently than I do now for better reception.

Same blaster as all the rest - literally...

This is the same blaster sold by a dozen different brands. I bought mine locally and assembled it. Read the reviews all over the web for all the different brands and you can get some great tips on how to make it work best. It's entertaining to see different brands have different results or different customers have different expectations based on the different prices they pay. Different retailers trying to submarine each other? Dunno.A couple quick comments. Just bought it yesterday. Looks good. I like the build quality. Looking for the design I think I'll add a generic manual choke cable to move the lower valve (19B). Everyone that says they had success with it says that you really only need to open the 19B valve halfway and that it only works well with 80 grit or finer blasting media. We'll see this weekend. I've used one just like it, but about five years old.Means I'll only have to drill a small hole in the valve handle and clamp the choke knob to the sandblaster handle.For the play sand users - I used to borrow a big sandblaster from a fellow permanently on disability who had used silica sand in his blaster for a while without enough protection for his lungs. He reported that it felt like he was permanently sick and had been for several years with no expectation of ever being well again. He was in his thirties. Read up and see what you think about it. Wikipedia has a great article on silicosis.[...]I'm using this blaster with a 60 gallon Campbell-Hausfeld ~5HP air compressor. It's a single stage compressor. It does a fair job of keeping up with the blaster for a while but eventually I do have to stop and wait for it to catch up. If it'll blast at 80 psi (don't know yet), then there is less volume of air being consumed so the compressor might keep up longer. I have not had time to experiment that much yet.Have always used tarps and a small salad colander for sifting my sand/blasting media for reuse.The compressor pump itself is not big enough to stay ahead of the sand blaster for too long. Being that this is only a hobby rig, I can deal with it. If I was making a living with it - I'd have bigger equipment.The finer 80-grit garnet that one reviewer mentioned works best. Anything more coarse leads to clogging. I think high humidity will make a huge difference (problem) later in the summer too. Make sure your compressor has an inline dryer too. The sandblaster has one as well of course but having them in both places is worthwhile.For a helmet I use an old welding helmet with a clear glass window that has a scrap of leather taped/glued to it to keep the grit out of my shirt. Either way its a dirty job but easier and faster than doing it by hand.

Cobra 25 LTD.

I put this in a Peterbilt that sees its share of rough roads. It works as good as any CB I have had before. I previously always bought Cobra 146's or 148's but rarely used all the extra functions such as sideband and such. This unit works as good as them it just doesn't have the extras that most of us don't use anyway.

Typical CB. Typical functions. It works as advertised. I bought this radio primarily for use in a company van. It is set up to be installed, and removed in under a minute. I don't have to leave it in when I'm not driving.The transmitter works fine with good audio reports using the stock mic. The receive is good, also. The RF gain control is a nice feature to limit the "junk" coming in that I don't need or want to hear. The received audio is tinny and weak. It could use a better speaker with some bass. What kept me from giving this radio 5 stars? The horrible built in speaker and a lack of an automatic noise limiter.Personally I feel the Instant CH 9 / Normal is a waste of time along with the PA option.Just my .2 cents worth.

Great sound. Great price.

I am very picky about about audio speakers, but heard about these and purchased two for my back porch outdoors. I liked the sound and value so much that I bought 4 more sets to put throughout my home and added surround speakers to my media room. If I can figure out how to run wire, I am going to buy two more for my garage, so I can enjoy music while I work on projects and play basketball in the driveway.

Very good device

New to car maintenance, i suppose most people buying these know what they are in for. Mine couldn't remove the bolts holding my truss rods on to the base of my car, and i thought it was defective. It really didn't seem to have any power at all. Took it to a friend who is a mechanic and he hooked it up to his compressor. The thing screamed and torqued so much when you squeezed the trigger you had to brace yourself or your'd feel like it'd twist your wrist right off your hand. Turns out the recommended 100 or so max psi the manual says to run this at really isn't enough, my mechanic runs his at about 200psi. works like a charm

Great tool, used it a couple of times and once even broke a bold trying to tighten it. it has 2 settings for loosening and tightening but as previous reviewer said, no indication what the torque range is for those settings.Be cautious: this is NOT for small jobs, you might easily overtighten bolts with this.....

Excellent Sound For The Money-BIC America Does It Again

The first owner of my house had installed a pretty decent surround sound system in the living room, having chosen some Polk 6.5" in-wall speakers for the rear.When one of them recently gave up the ghost after 13 years, I immediately checked to see whether B.I.C. America made a set of 6.5s as replacements, since they have a reputation for sound equivalent to speakers that cost three, four, five, or six times more.I've personally confirmed this to be true with two pairs of the B.I.C. America DV62si and a matching sub, so I wasted no time in ordering these to replace the Polks. Easy installation, and the sound is much better than the Polks they replaced, which, sure enough, cost 3 times as much as the B.I.C.s.In short, I can't recommend the B.I.C. line of speakers highly enough, but don't take my word for it, the accolades are all over the interwebs.

Sounds Great

These BIC M-60 in-wall speakers sound great, nice clarity and imaging. I do recommend building Back boxes from 3/4" MDF board (36" x 14" x 3.5") and filling them with fiberglass insulation, or acoustic damping material to extend the Bass range downward. This of course is easier to do in new construction. I highly recommend these speakers. Fantastic value for a very reasonable price.

Fine for Home Theater

I wanted to build a home theater system on a budget and didn't want a home theater in a box due to the input limitations and ugly speakers that take up too much room. So I went with 4 Bic M-50's in walls, a Bic DV52CLRB center channel, and a Velodyne VX10 subwoofer. I'm running it all with a Sony STR-DE685 receiver. It's a really nice setup for home theater and I'm very satisfied overall. Movies in dolby digital are amazing. Music on the other hand is a bit flat although if I tinkered with the receiver settings I might be able to get it a little better. Like I said I did this on a budget and the Bic-M50 are really dirt cheap.The one thing I learned was to do your best at matching all the speakers with eachother which is why I went with four of the exact same in walls and the center channel that Bic says is matched to the M50's. You can always tweak the power going to each speaker in the receiver settings to balance them but there is no need to if they are matched out of the box. If I had a few more bucks to spend I suppose I would have gotten the Bic Venturi VI-38 in walls instead for about double the price. I probably would have gone with M60's but the price on the M50's was significantly cheaper when I bought so I went with those.The mounting brackets for the M50's seem to be a pain when you do the first one but once you get used to them the rest are a piece of cake. They are rock-solid and will be totally vibration proof. When I first got them I had wished they had the simple flaps that turn out and screw down like some other speakers on the market but these are much more secure than those. The screws to clamp them down are very long so I suggest using a small cordless drill to spin them just about tight and then finish them with a screw driver by hand.Overall these are good speakers. Be warned that they won't sound as good as they can until they are mounted in the wall and you have them all hooked up. I was excited to test them and hooked one up just out of the box and thought it sounded poor. Unfortunately you need to cut holes in your walls to really test them out!By the way, if you go through all the trouble to hook up a home theater system, make sure you have the ability to watch your programming in either Dolby Digital or DTS when available. To do this, your source is going to have to have it which can be either a dvd or a tv channel that supports it. Most HD channels are in dolby digital. Your dvd player or cable/sat box is gonna have to hook up to the receiver by either an optical cable or a digital coaxial cable. Both are cheap on Amazon. The best the old fashion composite (red/white/yellow) are gonna give you is the old Dolby Pro Logic which is no where near as impressive as Dolby Digital.

Heavy Duty Hose

Well made hose but beware that it doesn't come with fittings to connect it to your washer. Off to The Home Depot where I had to buy the fittings which were sitting next to a very good hose that already had the fittings installed for the same price.
