I consider myself hard to please, and this product is an excellent choice.Also, since I am left-handed, the fact that the brush is made in a left-handedversion is a joy. I highly recommend this product. I also use an electrictoothbrush, but when I want to use a manual, this is the only brush I will use.

Bushnell Sentry 18-36x 50mm came up short!- Better...!

I had trialed 7 top-rated spotting scopes, trying to find a GOOD compact/lightweight/sharp scope for my hunting backpack/range!?At the time I tried this Bushnell scope-The Leupold Gold Ring 15-30x 50mm had the sharpest optics, but 50mm was no-good/dim in low-light conditions! The Max 30x was also not strong enough, to judge racks at long distance (I could see .30 bullet holes in the black, at 200yds. though!)!~~This 18-36x scope came in 2nd for Sharpness, but 50mm just wasn't enough for low-light conditions?For the low price, it was pretty darn good though!-1. It was lightweight, and compact for back-packing up a mountain!3. I could see .30 holes in the black at 200Yds., but didn't stay anywhere near in focus as you increased power (most require a little tweaking...)!~~~~~~~~~~~~~My non-shill/fanboy recommendation!I finally found a GREAT "compact/lightweight/Sharp..." spotting scope/Tri-pod combination (cost $less than MANY I trialed!)!-1. The Bushnell Elite 15-45x 60mm Spotting Scope Bushnell Spotting Scope Elite 15-45x602. The "Vanguard MARS 1 tripod" is compact/lightweight/Solid Vanguard MARS 1 OS Tri Pod- This link is the Amazon "OS" tripod model (there was a Better model for me!)!-If you Google "Vanguard MARS 1 tripod"- you can find the "non-OS" model which is more compact/cheaper, and weighs 10oz... less!The hot-shoe fits most all other Vanguard tripods (I feel Vanguard tripods are the best quality for my $buck!)!ENJOY!

The sky's the limit price wise for spotting scopes but this scope is very reasonably priced.I use this one for zeroing in my rifles at 100yds and it works great for me. It even comes with its own case. The only real drawback is a flimsy tripod. Don't leave it standing on tripod next to you on tripod unless you're firing a small caliber rifle.

Very Good Range Scope, Tripod Not So Much

This Bushnell Sentry Spotting Scope is a good choice for use at the range, providing clear optics and enough magnification to see target hits out to 200 yards. I have tried several of the other inexpensive brands and have been mostly disappointed past 100 yards, so was pleased when one of these went on sale at a local store.The spotting scope is easy to focus and zoom with well placed controls that adjust smoothly. The tripod is a real disappointment and should not be trusted on anything but the most sturdy benches. A small camera tripod makes a much better choice.Really don't know why I waited so long to get one of these.Recommended!CFH

I planned on using this scope for target shooting at 100 yards. Unfortunately the product description at the amazon site was not all that detailed but I took a chance given the great review and the price. It turned out having the parallax setting I was hoping for. In other words you can focus the scope to any distance between 10 yards and infinite so you can get your target clear and parallax free at any range. The clarity of the picture at 100 yards with 24x magnification is amazing. It started raining while I was shooting and I was still able to use the scope effectively and the target remained bright and clear.The reason why I am giving it 4 stars is that the scope I received is obviously one that was produced before Tasco changed ownership and as I understand it there is no support for this item.

Haven't been able to shoot with this yet but at 15" of snow on the ground it is a little hard to get to the range. The clarity of this scope is excellent and the magnification is great. I would purchase another of these if needed.

Shooting paper targets with this scope it does what it is supposed to do at an excellent price point. It is optically clear and holds the settings on a .22. The 6x-24x variable feature is excellent for shooting targets from 50 ft to 100yds. The crosshairs are fine and the rear focus for the parallax works for target shooting. The crosshairs are thicker until they get to the center where they become much finer which is what you need to see to center your shot perfectly on a paper target. It's not a high end scope. For that you need open your wallet and shell out $1,000 or more. This will do the job just fine for a weekend target shooter.

I bought this scope in 1999 and put it on my model 700 BDL 25-06. I consistently get 1/2" groups year after year. The light gathering capabilities of this scope are comparable with scopes costing much more. Many whitetail have fallen because of this scope and my trusty Remington. I would prefer easier to get to sight adjustments though. Good hunting!

I will start by saying that this is the third Banner line scope I have owned, and my 9th Bushnell scope. I have had excellent luck with their products, and this scope is a great example of why I will continue to use Bushnell optics. For the money, the Banner line offers good glass and coatings. I like them as much as many of my more expensive scopes. This model impresses me even more than the 6-24x40 Banner that I have on my Savage mk2 btv. The 6-24 is great, but at the higher powers in low light, the image becomes somewhat dim and eye position is very crucial. That doesn't matter much on a bright day at the range, so it is fine for that rifle, but this 6-18x50 model is so much brighter at all magnification levels, and is much less picky about eye positioning at 18x. The image quality is very good, the coatings are good at controlling flare, and the magnification and parallax rings both turn smoothly enough. Everything about this scope seems too good to be true at this price. Basically, if you want a scope for long range precision shooting and the lighting may not always be the best, this may be your best choice if you are on a limited budget.The only things I don't like, or think that a potential buyer should consider are:This scope is not very heavy for its size, but it is large, and may be too big to look appropriate on some rifles.The scope will require very high rings on most rifles so that the objective bell may clear the barrel. If your stock does not have a raised cheekpiece, you will have trouble getting a good cheek weld. If you have a straight-backed stock without a raised cheekpiece, you will want to either modify/replace your stock, or go with a scope with a 40mm objective. For a compact rifle with no cheekpad, I can't recommend anything more highly than the Super Banner 3.5-10x36mm scope. It is one of the most enjoyable and useful scopes I own, because it works equally well on a squirrel rifle, a target gun, or a deer rifle, and doesn't add too much bulk or weight for the quality it delivers.

The Zoom range is very nice 6x gives you plenty of field of view. At 18X you don't need a spotting scope with you and you can really zoom in on your target area for some precision shooting.I have it mount on a varmint AR-15 with a 24" barrel. I was able to produce some crazy small groups with this setup.Shooting .223/5.56mm did not throw it off zero or rattle anything loose.I added some butler creek flip up lens covers:Butler Creek Flip-Up Rifle Scope Lens Cover #17 Eyepiece (Rear)Butler Creek Flip-Up Rifle Scope Lens Cover #47 Objective (Front)I used xx-high weaver tactical rings.I highly reccomend this product.

I teach marksmanship and these are the scopes I put on my loaners. I field half a dozen of these every months and each rifle gets around 500 rounds through it. I've never had a problem with one of these scopes and neither have I heard of any of my students having a problem, many of them liked the scope so much that they went out and bought the same model without a complaint.

It has the adjustments at the end of the scope to compensate for bullet drop. I sited it in using the bushnell laser at 100yds and hit within an inch of my target the first shot. Scope is easily adjustable and made of high quality components. Clarity through lens and cross hairs are superb. Killed 2 deer over the holidays at about 200yds with a perfect kill shot both times. Works well in very low light.

I got this scope for deer hunting, it works really well. and apparantly had a wider field of view than the 3-9 x40 not sure if this is true but the field of view seems really good at 4x zoom. no problems yet with the scope, very happy with it. never had a more expensive scope, only cheaper ones and after talking to quite a few fellow hunters bought this on many good recomendations and its lived up to them so far.

Ahh, BUSHNELL SCOPE, very good... set to >3x50< it doesn't get no clearer than nat for paintball snipin'. Multi X riticule lines are thinner around the center of the scope. No tool needed to adjust windage & elevation. Multi coated lenses, adjustable from 3 to 9 times power, shock proof! water proof!!! what more do you want come on your killin' me, just look at the shoulder leading up to the objective lens. The "Bushnell Banner" is crazy nice SON!!!
