The perfect tool for woodworking use.

Need a brad nailer for your workshop? Look no further, this little tool is great. The compressor is small, lightwieght and (relatively)quiet. The nailer is also light but neverthless feels substantial and well built. And the gun uses so little air the compressor hardly ever needs to run. I use it for woodworking and projects around the home. Enough power for hard woods, and it does not mar the finish. I considered spending more for a DeWalt or Porter-Cable set up, but for my needs I'm glad I bought this package. It's easy to carry the entire set in one hand (very convenient). I'll never need to go beyond the 2 1/2 inch max. capacity. So ask yourself what you really need. If your not doing framing, work alone, and want a quality finished product, buy this set. The only drawbacks are (i) the instruction manual with little actual instruction and (ii) the 3 week delivery time. Hopefully supplies will increase over time.

My new favorite tool!

My wife purchased this combo package for me for my birthday this year (well, more like I bought it and thanked her for it). I have to say, I am impressed.

THE BRAD NAILER:The gun is lightweight and small enough to get into tight spots, yet it appears to be very well built. The protective no-mar pad does not scratch prefinished moulding, and the side load magazine is convenient and easy to use. I shot about 200 2" brads while installing new 1/2" baseboards and 3/4" birch door trim in my bedroom. Every brad was countersunk to perfect depth, and I did not get a single jam. I ended up with very professional results and finished in 1/2 the time it would have taken me with the old hammer and finish nails.

THE COMPRESSOR:The PC1010 will change the industry. For homeowners, hobby woodworkers, and customer service professionals in the cabinetry industry this is the perfect compressor. There is no need to lug around a 4 or 6 gallon compressor for a little brad nailer. You can easily carry the nailer, hose, and bread box sized compressor in one hand. From startup, this quiet, lightweight little workhorse takes about 2 minutes to pump up to 110 psi. I consistently got 10 shots before kick in, then another 40 seconds or so to recover. I nailed right through the recovery time, and never had to wait for the compressor to before driving any brads.

SHORTFALLS:It is very difficult for me to find anything that I don't like about this one. However, rumor has it that Senco guns work best with Senco brads, and the local home improvement stores sell mostly PC and Bostich... so I will need to find another source. I would not recommend the PC1010 for anyone who wants to drive anything larger than 18ga brads, or run multiple air tools from a single compressor. Also - the compressor is so new that Senco has very limited literature on it, but I would be willing to bet they will get this taken care of soon.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:Some of the best customer service I have had the pleasure to work with. If you purchased from an authorized dealer, and you have any problems with your equipment, I recommend calling Senco directly.

Woodworker Hobby or Trim Tool

I got this package for very light duty use - woodworking shop projects and qtr-round molding on flooring. The nailer is a quality tool that sells for $120 everywhere so that makes the compressor only $75. I had a $15 coupon so the compressor was only $60 for me.The compressor is so light that it is no problem carrying it. The tank pressure is 125 lbs and I set the tank outlet pressure to 90 lbs. It shoots about 10 brads before it cycles but you can keep shooting as it runs. I used 5/8" brads on molding on a shop project and 2" brads on floor qtr-round without a single problem. This sure saves time and doesn't mar the wood. It is pretty quiet and also looks good. Getting to small jobs and using this little tool is a pleasure. I will get an air blower tip for it; so far I'm satisfied.

Capacity is everything!

This is my hammer drill and I can easily reccomend it. It is perfectly capable within it's capacity. Another reviewer said the drill was unable to drill a 7/8 inch hole. The biggest bit one could expect to use with any drill in this class is 3/4 inch max. And that in the low speed (only 3/8 inch in high speed). The dissatisfied reviewer may not have known what he was doing. My outfit was doing a big remodel last year, adding on to a house. The existing threshold was poured crete and had to go. My boss told one of the guys to drill a bunch of one inch holes along the doorway so as to be able to smash the crete away. The worker didn't know any better either and went at it with a yellow hammer drill (similar in size to this one) in high speed with a one inch percussion bit. The drill died in about 20 minutes. So the boss went out and bought the same-sized Bosch HD and it died that day too. Now he has a Makita but not the knowledge of capacity. They don't listen to me - I just work there. In closing, I love the RED tools, have a bunch of them, and they are always (except for miter saws and impact drivers - then Makitas are the standard by which all others are judged) the first I look at.

Great drill for a great price

I read a lot of reviews, and spoke with some contractors I know, and they all had problems with hammer drills of other colors. Milwaukee always got good to great ratings. I own one other Milwaukee, and it is a great tool too, so I thought this a good choice. I was not disappointed. This drill is powerful, light weight, and with a new set of bits, made holes in concrete, ceramic tile, and wood with ease, largest was 1/2". In wood with a 1" self-feeding auger bit it was unstoppable. I am only a weekend warrior, so I am sure this tool will outlast me.

Excellent product!

First of all, it's very unlike me to take the time to go back and write a review for any product. However, I am beyond pleased with the purchase or my Milwaukee 5378-21 7.5 Amp 1/2-Inch Hammer Drill. I'm a professional architect and weekend carpentry warrior and based my opinion on such use.Recently the drill performed flawlessly during a deck construction project with ample power to drive through 6x8 beams with ease. Drill provides plenty of drive and torque for any wood application!The hammer feature is a little loud but that's what ear protection's for. This little baby is a work horse - absolutely no complaints. I love it and I'm sure I'll have it for years to come.

This has really been a good product for me, as it does not cause gas/bloating, like most fiber products, and seems to work subtly, but effectively. You want to start slowly, and increase as needed up to the max. I am now at 12 per day (the max dose), 6 in the AM, six around bedtime. Drink a full glass of water with each dose, as this is essential for its action.

Advice from a Long Time User

The Original PowerBar Performance Energy Bar was one of the first nutritiuosly sound energy sources developed for performace oriented athletes but is now also used by a wide range of fitness enthusiasts and others interested in a nutritionally sound energy source. It is much more beneficial than candy bars or other sugar based snacks and much more convenient than fruit or other sources of carbohydrates. The company is often one of the sponsors of athletic events and distributes their products to the competitors.

I am a middle of the pack marathoner and long distance runner who originally carried a few candy bars with me but found that the initial sugar surge had little lasting benefit. When the PowerBar was introduced I decided to test its use instead and have been very pleased. The have continually expande the number of flavors, so you should experiment until you find one that meets your taste requirements. My favorite is malt nut, followed by peanut butter. I find the chocolate a little rich for heavy, sustained exercise but good for a snack. The company subsequently has also introduced a Harvest Bar alternative with a somewhat different composition and different taste characteristics. My wife and daughter, who are bicyclists, both prefer the Harvest Bar. We have tried many of the numerous competitive alternatives introduced over the years, but have found PowerBars to be superior for a nutritious energy boost where quick caloric intake is important. The are also a good snack when traveling or skipping a meal.

My suggestion is that if you plan to use them in a competitive sports event or during strenuous exercise, try one first to make sure that it doesn't bother your digestive system. And don't eat them without some fluid intake to aid in their digestion. I got used to eating them while on easy training runs, and found out that I digested them most easily if I ate approximately a third of a bar every half hour. Finally, if I was exercising in hot humid conditios, I chilled them in the refrigerator first to help maintain their consistency.

yummy... kind of.

These bars really help me pick up the pace mid-day. The consistincy is that of salt-water taffy but with grainy substance. It's a health bar, so I expect it! I think about how much better I'll feel after I eat it and it goes down easier.They pack a lot in them, but if they actually made them taste better AND kept all the good stuff, I'd give 'em all five stars.

Not candy, but does the trick...

Good for a quick meal replacement or restorative energy while training, POWER BARS are the old reliable of the food-bar set. Not as tasty as Edge Bars, but they're working on it with new flavors like Vanilla Crisp and Mocha. Don't be fooled into thinking they last forever...don't let 'em sit around too long. They'll usually give your jaw a good workout, too.

Awesome toy!

My 2 kids (ages 5 and 11) love this thing. It did take some effort to put together, but it's not as difficult as some make it out to be. All you have to do is follow the directions which were well written. The thing is huge. Plenty of features to keep the kids interested for a long time. Yes, you do have to buy the rescue hero guys separately, so what. As a parent, you have to learn to READ THE BOX to see what's included when buying any toy for your kids. Nothing worse than getting a great toy home not having everything you need (like batteries or action figures). The action figures are great "heroes" for the kids to play with. My 5 yr old has told all the kids at school all about this fun toy. He can't wait to play with it when he comes home. No I don't own stock, but the other two reviews are IMHO pretty far from our experience with the toy.

Don't waste your money

This toy looked so exciting on the package. I purchased it for my 4 1/2 year old because he loves Rescue Heroes. We have about 20 rescue hero figures, plus animals, plus the large fire truck, police car and the atv. I thought this would be the perfect addition to their set. It wasn't!!!!! It is all plastic first of all and please, don't make a mistake putting it together -- you CANNOT take it back apart and fix it if you make a mistake the first time. Secondly there are about 30 parts. With the exception of the voice system there is absolutely nothing to do with this toy. My son is currently screaming because the lift comes off with no effort at all -- and it doesn't pull up things that weigh more then an ounce without falling off the garage. The pieces all come off. Only buy this toy if you enjoy watching your children get frustrated and more frustrated by teh second with this toy!!! For $70.00 I'm very disappointed. in Fact, I'm returning this toy first thing tomorrow -- it isn't even worth $20.00 in my opinion.

Rescue Heroes are excellent in my opinion due to their large size -- they are perfect for small hands and are very well built -- but this particular part of their set bombed out in my house!!!!!

Disappointed in the durability of this toy.

I bought this for my nephew's 3rd birthday. He was so suprised when he saw it and he wouldn't stop playing with it. He was using the "cat condo" for the Heroe's to run their missions before he got the MACC. I know the cats are thankful for this gift. I think it's a great toy if you have a Rescue Hero fanatic in your house. However, like others have stated, the crane is not very sturdy, and that's my nephew's favorite part of the toy. Whenever he tries to use it the whole thing pops off of the top of the command center. I was having to hold it on while he played with it. Hopefully his grandpa can rig it so it works for him.

Luckily I got this on sale at Toys R Us for $29.99 so I'm not so put out by this designing flaw since grandpa will find a way to make it work. But I do feel for those who spent $69.99 on this toy. I would not recomment paying that kind of price for this type of quality.

All in all its a fun toy for the Rescue Hero's fan in your house but it does require a little aftermarket repair on your part for it to function properly.

This is a cute toy, but if more than one child will be playing with it, get ready to rumble! There is only one car to go down the ramp (the highlight of the Fun Park), so it immediately created a problem when my two children began to play with it. They share pretty well, but this toy created unnecessary tension and spoiled the fun. These types of Little People toys used to come with at least two cars, so I have no idea why they would be so cheap as to include just one car and two "people."

AWESOME Toy!!!!

I picked this toy up at a clearance sale at Kmart and my 21 mos. son just loves it. He played with it for two hours as soon as I took it out of the box and put it together, and probably would have kept going if he hadn't had to eat something!He can't get enough of this, it holds his attention better than television. I am so impressed!!! I loved little people when I was small, and my sisters and I would play with our farm and Jet plane for hours on end, too. I am so glad to see my son enjoying them sooo much!I saw another review that said the assembly was difficult, and I just have to say thats not true. If I can put it together without frustration then, just about anyone can in my opinion, because I am not handy at all!! I usually leave the assembly to my husband.

The most fun of all the Little Peple sets!

This is fun! My 4 yr old daughter loves it and my 9 mo old daughter loves to watch her play with it, especially when the car slides down the track. It makes adorable sounds. My daughter begs me to play little people with her all the time, I have to say, this keeps my attention a lot longer. This is something all 3 of us, me, 4 yr old and baby love playing with together. The only thing I wish is that it would fold up for storage. I hate how much space these things take! But this is a lot of fun and very durable.
