4Does its job
By Martha C. Gonzalez
I am an elementary school teacher and this printer does the job. My old one broke so I bought the same one through Amazon. It prints wonderfully. It is fast, very simple to use, and the toner lasts a very long time. I make sets of 20 for my students almost daily with ease. I am very happy with it and I feel it is worth every penny. Unfortunately it is no longer being made. I hope this one will last as long as my previous one.

4Purchasing HP LaserJet 4100 printer
By Hazel Tucker
Our HP LaserJet 4100 printer stopped working toward the end of 2012. We had already purchased Toner Cartridges for the 2013 tax season, including toner for printing checks.I went on line searching to purchase another 4100 printer. I found and purchased it through Amazon.com. The printer arrived and when we started using it the corner of each sheet would fold down. Within a few days it started jamming and we contacted Amazon who contacted the seller of the printer, LA TECH.They immediately got in contact with us and paid for shipping the printer back to them and sent another printer. It works very well and we would purchase through this company again.

4Close but not quite.
By westcoastmama
In general this works very well. The maps in my area (middle of nowhere KY) look like they were created from current and planned roads from 1980. Any road less than 10 years old is not included and many never built roads are included.Pros:1) Signal aquirement is very fast.2) Re-routing is very fast.3) Audible directions are good.4) Display is excellent.Cons:1) Maps only come in regions of 1/2 - 4 states (about 35 Mb each) and can not be broken up. Therefore the 64 Mb of data storage can not be efficiently used (you can generally only fit 1 region on the unit at a time). If you live on the edge of a region then you may find yourself forced to purchase a SD media card for programming.2) There are no base maps (Interstates or Highways). If a region is not loaded then there are no roads!3) You can not store a "point". You can store a street to a range of addresses. It claims I have reached my destination 2/3rds of a block before I get home.4) It will instruct you to "bear right" when the road you are on goes from 2 lanes to 4 lanes. When there happens to be an intersection there it is easy to make a mistake.5) It does not report elevation.6) You can only select one piece of optional information on the screen (Direction N-NW-W-SW..., Speed, Distance to Destination, Time, ETA, Distance to turn)7) If you don't have a specific destination programmed then the display is limited to North up display. You also lose the option to select any of the optional information.8) No batteries - this could be a handheld but only if you want to build your own battery case. This is not as big of a deal when you consider that it does not appear that it is designed to work when you get off of a recognized street.

Overall I like this. Investing in a 256 Mb SD card seems wise if not even a necessity. I have hopes that some of the CONS will be addressed through upgrades someday...

5The new Gold Standard for vehicle GPS systems
By D. Levy
I have used several GPS systems in the past; Deloreme Street Atlas 2003 on my laptop with their Earthmate ,and the Garmin GPS III.

The Navman ICN 630 is far and away superior to all of the above. It is more accurate then the Delorme.

The screen is like the screen on a laptop computer. It is bright and easy to read. It is very easy to operate the unit. The accuracy is excellent. Regardless of zoom level I am always on the road. The 2 inch speaker provides clear verbal directions. Verbal directions are provided early and often.

I would recommend a 256MB SD Card. Each region is between 30 and 50MB. You can load two regions in the base memory of 64MB.

Software installation is smooth. All updates and map loads are performed via USB. Map uploads can take 15 minutes per region (no big deal). The software is bullet proof, you can do other tasks while performing map uploades.

4Gets you where your going without the worry
By Michael Dubrow
I got the Navman iCN 630 after trying the Delphi Mobile Navigation system, as these units are based on the same hardware and similar (but not identical) software. The screen is sharp and easy to read, while the voice instructions are loud enough to be heard in a car traveling at highway speeds with the radio on.

I considered the Garmin 2610 and the Magellan Roadamte 500, but I went with the Navman because the Garmin doesn't have 3D views (which I find very useful for a quick visual of where you're heading) and the Magellan seems to have a host of quality control problems (see the forums at www.gpspassion.com).

Benefits of the Navman vs. the Delphi include:(1) Navman bundles USA and Canada maps with the unit, while Delphi only provides the USA maps.(2) Navman has released a couple of service packs to improve the display and the routing algorithms, and these service packs are NOT compatible with the Delphi GPS.

Be aware that the Amazon information is pretty outdated. The new Navman units ship with 4 CD-ROMs containing the software and Tele-Atlas maps, not Navteq maps. I've found the Tele-Atlas data to be pretty good in my area, but you'll have to make that determination for yourself.

Also, Navman just announced that it will be coming out with the iCN 635 in a few months, and that unit will include a remote control and more base memory (128 mb vs. 64 mb). If those features are important to you, then you may want to wait.

3Did not work for our office
By Angela Chen
Our office tried to use the Konexx Konference with a Polycom Voicestation 300. It technically worked, but not well. It was almost impossible for the other parties to hear our side and overall sound quality was just not acceptable. I am sure this product works for some people, but it did not work for us. A positive was the customer service from Konexx. The man I spoke with stayed on the line w/me for about 20 minutes trying to improve my sound quality, which he did, but it was unfortunately still not good enough.

5How It Works
By Charlene Bader
Don't throw out your current digital conferencing phone yet!The Konexx Konference is not a connection between the phone jack in your wall and your analog conference phone (i.e. your Polycom). In fact, there are very clear instructions upon opening: DO NOT PLUG THE KONEXX KONFERENCE DIRECTLY INTO A TELEPHONE JACK OR DIRECTLY TO A PHONE LINE OF ANY TYPE.The Konexx Konference is a connection between your current phone, connected to your digital telephone jack, and your conference phone, which needs an analog jack. Our offices are connected by a Vodavi digital telephone system, but we wanted a high-quality conferencing phone for our conference room. Not only did the Konexx Konference save us a $100 service fee from our phone company (required to convert the telephone jack from digital to analog), but now we can use either the current digital phone for private conversations in the conference room, or the analog Polycom for conference calls. It's an easy transition, without adjusting any plugs or cords, since both phones are connected to the telephone jack. With the Konexx Konference, we set up the conference call on our digital phone, and then just press the phone key on our Polycom (SoundStation2W Expandable) to pick up the call on the Polycom. One aesthetic annoyance -- since the Polycom call is directed through our digital phone, we have to leave the handset of our digital phone off the hook while making a call on the Polycom. Also, there are a lot more cords with two phones and one jack. But we have a nice side table in our conference room, behind which we hide all of it.This is a great product, with user-friendly directions and diagram for set-up, that's made our conference room more professional and more versatile. Thank you!

5Works perfectly and as advertised.
By K. Sander
We connected this between an ancient Lucent phone in our conference room and a slightly less ancient Polycom Soundpoint using the 3rd switch setting, and it works perfectly. Call clarity and volume are both excellent.

5Important info on mounting
By Dave
As you can see by the other reviews, this is a great pot rack. However I have some very useful information if you want to purchase it. The rack was well designed and the mounts were spaced properly so that you screw the pot rack directly into the studs. There is a major flaw...the screws that they provide are only 1 1/4 inches long. My kitchen has 3/4 inches of plaster before you hit a stud and the rack is about an 1/8 of an inch wide. That means the screws only bite into the stud a total of 3/8 of an inch. The result...during installation the pot rack ripped itself out of the wall. So I found a better way to mount it.My solution cost an extra $1.77. I went to Home Depot and I bought five 1/4 by 2 inch lag screws and five 1/4 inch washers. I had previously measured and marked the three mounts on the main unit prior to installation. I then predrilled the holes with a 3/16 inch drill bit. Predrilling is very important, you don't want to split the stud when putting the lag screws in. And of course check your measurements so you don't miss the studs or put in any extra holes in your wall.Next put the washers on the lag screws and use a ratchet to screw them in place. Once the main portion of the rack was in place I installed the 2 supports, predrilled each hole, and installed the remaining lag screws. This pot rack is easily 10 times stronger than it would have been with the original hardware. I would hang cast iron cookware off of it without hesitation. It looks great in the kitchen and is ultra stable. I highly recommend the pot rack so long as you replace the original mounting hardware.

5Buy this! But get extra instructions.
By Niall O'Driscoll
Like everyone else, I love this rack. One of the benefits of this wall mounted rack, as opposed to a rack suspended from the ceiling, is that you can hang and remove pots without worrying about unbalancing the rack and having things slide around or fall off. The downside is that this rack may be a bit more work to attach. My building is quite old and the wall studs weren't spaced 16 inches apart, as this rack requires. If you search the web for "how to hang a pot rack" you'll get all the extra info you need to deal with this and other problems not covered by the very brief instruction sheet.

5Good Quality at reasonable price
By N
I just had this pot rack installed and it looks great in my small kitchen. It's sturdy and functional. The finish is matte black with chrome grid, hooks and mounting hardware (all the hardware needed is included... even the ceiling hooks which are not included with some racks). The description here at amazon doesn't say how much weight it can hold. It's made by Rogar and you can get extra hooks at their website. For the price this one can't be beat... I even got it with free shipping from Target. I recommend it to anyone with limited cabinet space.

5Perfect for my kitchen
By Alex
This pot rack was a perfect fit for a rather small kitchen. It is solidly built at a fairly reasonable price, especially compared to other pot racks. The simplicity of design was just what I was looking for; not only are other potracks sometimes excessively decked out in wrought iron, copper, etc., but this seems to be one of the few rectangular pot racks out there (or that I could find). The chains may be a bit short for taller ceilings (brownstones, for instance). A trip to the hardware store could easily fix that, though. My ceilings are about 9 feet high, and I can comfortably maneuver pots on and off.The only thing you have to be prepared for is the installation. The rack itself, not to mention the pots it will carry, is quite heavy, and as such must be anchored into wooden structural members in the ceiling. If you have a drop-ceiling, you can't just use heavy-duty wall anchors; the rack is likely to rip down your ceiling. If your ceiling is concrete, you may just have to substitute some of your own hardware to allow you to anchor hooks into the concrete. This would be adventurous, but not impossible. A drop-ceiling, however, is probably out of the question. This is a nice addition to my apartment. I only hope future apartments I live in will have the right structure to put it up.

4Aesthetic and Functional
By T. Ho
Luckily for me, the previous owner of the house had a pot rack, so the hook was already in place for immediate placement of the rack to hang from the ceiling. Since I have a high kitchen ceiling, I got some additional chainlink so it would hang down low enough, and voila, it was up and holding 8 pans/pots. I only needed the 8 hooks that go along the perimeter, but they include some additional S-hooks which I haven't used. I have no complaints - it does what it's supposed to do.

5Excellent As good as I expected
By D. D'Eugenio
I was considering (having narrowed it to) a couple of different well known brands in the six thousand dollar price range. Having started out leaning towards the bigger name brands the service tech did a fine job trying to keep me in the higher priced models. I'm not sure who wore who out. As I read more about the different models I found them to be very similar in their offerings, however, I kept leaning towards not what the descriptions said, but where I felt it mattered most, in the visual presentation of the picture I saw. I also found that visual presentation to be equally as personal. I asked others (in the showroom) their opinion and no surprise, I got as many differences as there were people. For example, I viewed some that looked to be naturally lighter and some darker and some with the hues more sedate than others that were more brilliant. We all saw them differently, yet the specs were all the same. My decision to buy this Samsung plasma screen wasn't scientific, I bought it because I've had great success with Samsung products in the past and I found the picture to be as pleasing as the more expensive models. With the money I saved, I upgraded to the Bose audio system and still had plenty of money left to buy DVDs and the popcorn to go with them. I would strongly recommend this plasma screen and feel confident that you made the right decision. PS, don't let those clerks up-sell you, let your eye decide, after all it's you that will be watching it!

5great price and 2 year warranty
By William D. Johnston
Great picture and great sound. Especially when you hook up a subwoofer to the set. I also purchased the optional speakers which have good overall quality. I have read some other reviews regarding some buzzing with the set but I have found that when I have hooked up the speakers there are 3 screws on the side of the set. If these are overtightened this could cause some buzzing noise. By loosening the screws you can make the buzzing go completely away. It worked on my set. hope this wil help if you get some buzzing on you sets enjoy

5Amazing set for the money
By Matthew William Cohen
I can't complain about this set at all. I originally had a used Daewoo plasma from sams club and it sucked big time, heated up the room like crazy, and constantly had ghosting. I returned it at sams club and bought a samsung spn4235 at circuit city because they had a promotion (2,700 dollars) plus a 300 dollar gift certificate. They were getting rid of the model to get in new ones. The only thing I was let down about was it was EDTV but I found out HDTV models were a heck of a lot more expensive. When I first got the model it had this weird clayface effect and the picture wasn't what I expected however I adjusted the settings with Avia home theatre setup and I was very impressed with dvd picture. I thought this was as good as it was going to get but recently I ordered HDTV through dish network. I thought the standard channels looked like crap but I was able to set my settings at 1080i and 16:9 and hdtv channels were amazing. The picture was very lifelike and colorful and it fit my whole screen without stretching. I watched the discovery channel and the DNIE option is great for hdtv viewing. The unit does decent with blacks but not the best. The set definitely can provide a great picture but every tv can only provide as good a picture as the source it gets from. My suggestion is if you go hdtv use either component or dvi and avoid svideo and rca cables. The price is great and if your looking to save money and have a good picture I recommend the unit. There is a slight buzzing noise but I haven't noticed it. Don't bother with the side speakers go with surround sound it will enhance your experience much more. Overall a very good unit and I am definitely not disapointed.
