This is a great TV!

We bought the TV several months ago and just love it. My husband loves to watch movies on it. Plus you have so many screen options such as split screen, multi-screen and even a preview selection that pops up approximately 20 mini-screens at once so that you may get a brief view on what's on the several channels.

The aspect ratios works great for everything we watch. Plus, the sound qualty is exceptional.

I definitely recommend this TV!

I love this TV

This TV is amazing. It has the most beautiful picture I have seen on any tv this size, ever. It might weigh 300lbs, but I can't image owning a better tv. I have a PS3 and an XBOX 360 hooked up to it, and all my games look fantastic. When I had cable all the HD channels looked amazing, everything is so crisp. There are also a lot of other option on the tv like multi channel view and split screen, though I never used them it is nice to have the options. If you want a big tv, and size (depth) is not a deal breaker, this is it.

Nearly Indestructable, Excellent Flashlight

I don't rate products that I don't believe in. I had a TL-2 flashlight until I lost it, and it is, hands down, the best flashlight I have owned. That goes for LED flashlights as well as incandescent ones as well. I can't begin to count the number of times I dropped my flashlight, business end down, onto concrete floors with no problem. The only difference is that the paint got worn off of the flashlight where it hit the floor. The ability to focus the beam is a definite plus as most LED flashlights provide more of a flood type illumination. This flashlight will give a good tight focus at more than 100 feet with only a small amount of light spilling out of the spot. Feeding this flashlight is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I will say that for someone wanting a flashlight for extended use, there may be better ways to go, but if you use your flashlight for a minute or two at a time, this one is ideal. Batteries aren't cheap. CR-123s will cost you about 4.50 minimum . The only drawback to the flashlight, that I see, is that it is too easy to lose if you don't use the lanyard. Believe me when I tell you that someone finding this little gem will have a hard time giving it back! Yes it's that good of a flashlight. I'd give it 10 stars if it was possible.

STREAMLIGHT TL-2

I picked up the TL-2 after using numerous other lighting devices. I used it for one and a half years so far. I have found it extremely durable with its solid frame and I enjoy the simplicity of it. In my opinion this is an excellent flashlight for close quarter deployment. (A 30 foot range or two car lengths.) I've used this flashlight to knock on doors and probably have unintentionally struck nemerous objects with it. After two years of brutal use, I have only had to change the bulb once, yesterday.Again, this is flashlight appears to be designed for clearing residential homes or buildings. It will fit in any pants pocket or on any tactical vest with use of the attached clip. The lanyard is a personal choice. I have been trained to use it and still do during a high threat situation.I currently work a night shift and have found that that I need a flashlight that is compact and that can give me more illlumination distance. I purchased the Streamlight Polytac Led HP. This flashlight is slightly bigger than the TL-2 but is almost blinding with a focused beam. This should provide me the distance visiblity I need. At least I hope. I will carry both in different pockets. The Polytac's light appears so focused that one could miss something in close proximity to a threat. It will cause a blinding sffect on anyone who is within 30 feet of me.Get the TL-2 for close quarters.Get another light for distance.If you are using a flashlight in a tactical scenario I believe you need simplicity. (Press a button once to get the desired effect.) The idea of these multi button flashlights or flashlights where you can press the button multiple times to go from high to low is unrealistic. At least in my capcity.If you plan to use these lights consistantly, I recommend getting strong rechargable batteries to keep cost down.This is just my opinion.

Best value flashlight

For those interested in performance flashlights, this is about the best deal around. At just over fifty dollars here at Amazon, you can't go wrong. I have many flashlights at home and none are even close to as bright as this, other than my 3,000,000 candlepower spotlight.This light is fairly small and very portable. Great for camping, hunting, and hiking. Battery life may be a bit short, at only 1 hour. But that's pretty standard for battery powered lights. Rechargeable lights are either not as bright (Stinger and Strion) or are much larger (Ultrastinger, 12"). For this type of performance (200 lumens) in this type of package (6" long), lithium battery is really the only option.Check out flashlightreviews.com for more information and to see just how this light stacks up against the lights out there. The only light that is brighter is the Surefire 10X Dominator. It's also around 10x the cost of the TL-3, though.The PrincetonTec Surge is really the only light that competes with TL-3 on value. Has the same specs on flashlightreviews.com, but only costs twenty dollars and takes less expensive AA batteries (instead of the lithium 123). I haven't received my Surge, though, so I can't compare the two right now.EDIT on 17 Jan 05. Flashlight continues to work great. A furnace repairman was at my house a few weeks ago and his flashlight was dead. I let him use my TL-3 and he was totally blown away by the performance -- wrote down the brand and style so he could go get his own.I have my Princeton Tech Surge flashlight now, too. It's just as bright as the TL-3. The 8 AA batteries makes the Surge a little heavy (heavier than the TL-3) and it's not as sleek of a design. The switch is poorly designed on the Surge. Otherwise, it's really nice and I'd give the Surge 5 stars, too. The surge is completely waterproof (it's rated for diving, though I can't imagine trying to activate the power switch with diving gloves).Because both the light and batteries are so cheap, I'll probably get a few Surges for the house and car. The TL-3 will be my personal light for camping and hunting. My recommendation is to get both.I'm looking at getting the UltraStinger and Strion rechargeable lights next.

Excellent quality and price for a 200 lumens flashlight!

I admire Streamlight for bringing a quality, well designed, lithium powered, high output flashlight to the marketplace and not charging an arm and a leg such as Surefire does. This flashlight is a bargain at this price, and its comes complete wirh a back-up xenon bulb in the lamp endcap, as well. If you want an exceptionally bright, very compact light, that weighs very little compared to all those 3C and 2D monsters - this is the flashlight for you!

You can't go wrong with this light for $50

I've looked at a lot of "tactical" flashlights and this is the best one I've seen anywhere near this price. If you're looking for this type of light (takes 3 CR123s), don't ignore this one.Pros:- Relatively small and light weight.- Very bright...seems brighter than comparable surefire (9P with P91 lamp...~200 lumens). Surefire 9P with comparable lamp costs twice as much or more.- Large bezel (much larger than 9P surefire) which is probably why it seems brighter.- Beam can be FOCUSED. Surefire and most other lights like this cannot be focused. If you are using this light for "tactical" purposes, this is very important. All the light in the world doesn't do you any good if the light isn't focused where you want it.- Seems to be good quality. MUCH better than some of the tactical lights I've seen. Made in the USA.Cons:- Body of flashlight is too small for standard one inch weaver rings. If you are mounting this light on a rail, you'll need rings that are smaller. Or, simply wrap some tape or something around the light and use standard rings. I did the latter and it works great.- Doesn't look as "cool" as some other lights.- Couldn't find a cable switch to replace the tailcap switch that comes with the light. Someone told me that streamlight is coming out with a cable switch for this light. There may be an aftermarket cable switch that will work.I bought this light to mount on an airsoft rifle. It is just what I was looking for. I also like Wolf-Eyes flashlights but, like most others, the beams don't focus. If you don't like this light, check out wolf-eyes. They are chinese-made lights sold out of Canada at tactical-flashlights-store dot com. Great selection of flashlight models and options for reasonable prices.

Excellent workgroup scanner

I've reviewed and used many scanners over the years. Each is inevitably a compromise. However, the Strobe XP450 is by far the best that I've tried so far in its price range. It's fast. relatively resistant to jamming, easy to set up, and has less skewing than most automatic sheet feeders. It's also very compact and reliable. Highly recommended. I use it in a law office setting and it's been one of the major reasons that I have been able to move away from paper based files toward a much more efficient digital law office.

Finally a quiet reliable small footprint scanner

Thia is a great scanner. It is quiet, fast, and the document feeder works flawlessly. Be careful during installation. After installing Paperport, it continues on to install the driver without pause. The last screen tells you to connect the USB cable before selecting the 'finish' button. If you are not reading the screens, you could miss this and have to uninstall and reinstall which is messy. Other than that I highly recomment this. I have gone through 3 HP and one Canon scanner before finding one that fits the bill perfectly.

Great hardware, horrible support

I have used PaperPort/Visioneer scanners for close to a decade, and loved them all. For some reason, though, their code gets worse and worse and their "support" simply does not exist.For some reason, in order to install a new scanner, you have to remove all vestiges (even hidden ones) of the prior scanner software and drivers. Forget installing TWO scanners (I have both a Visioneer flatbed and a Strobe XP 450).Is it too much to ask to get support for an item that costs $650?

I love Leia! She has been my favorite Star Wars character forever so, like all Leia collectables I had to own this one!She is by far one of the best unleashed figures out there! Excellent speaker stand!

I purchased for my bookshelf speakers that were placed too low. 16" hight just gives right amount of lift I needed. It is now in level with my ear while sitting on sofa/chair. For the money, I think this is good buy. Assembly was easy and didn't have any issue what so ever.. Yes, it is not made of solid wood but what would you expect at this price level? They look good/slick and solid/sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone needed bookshelf speaker stands.
