5These figures totally rock!
By A Customer
I totally love these figures! They are perfect except for the dumb color scheme on Batman. I wish it would have been in more traditional colors, but it's still fun to play with. Evan though the blue color on Nightwing isn't completely accurate to the show, the metallic paint job looks good, and doesn't look strange like most variants do. Also, Nightwing is the right size to fit in with the Justice League figures. Overall they totally rock!

By A Customer
i like the new look for batman but they culd have been a little closer to hasbro with his design nightwing is ok. finnaly a toy company tryed to play the cape a little closer to the show by making it drape over the shoulders. i think they should try to make something like detective batman with a soft vynle version of the cape

5Batman and Robin
By A Customer
This is my favorite Robin toy...actually it's my only Robin toy, but it's still my favorite Robin. It's the only good Robin I can find. All the others are lame. The Batman's nice, but his cape is stuck on his neck, making it hard to move and impossible to make him jerk his head around. I mostly got the toy because it was the only Tim Drake, young, traditionally painted Robin, and because he kind of looks like in my favorite show, Teen Titans. I plan to get more Tim Drake, young Robins. I reccomend this to everyone, even if they don't like Batman. Even if their a girl!

5Worth every penny
By C. Panerio
I have had my BrewStation coffee maker for quite some time, and actually this is my second one. The first lasted almost a year before the power button quick working. We contacted Hamilton Beach, they sent us a free postage-paid return label along with a new machine. We did not even have to wait until they rec'd the old one before they would send the new one. Nice!We have not had any problems with the new machine and we have had it for almost two years. No leaks, no fumbling with a glass pot, (which can cost more than the coffee makers they came with to replace when they break), no dribbling coffee down the side of your cup to the floor/counter.For leak problems described in other reviews, make sure the rubber seal at the bottom of the carafe is intact and securely in place. It can become dislodged when cleaning.I noticed what I thought was mold growing on the hinge of the lid, but it is just hard water deposits. You can lift the lid and press it back just enough to pop the plastic bar (hinge) out. Wipe the bar down on both sides with a dish cloth then easily pop it back into place. Do this during routine cleaning to eliminate the deposits from accummulating.

5Best I've ever owned! 3-4 pots a day and fast!
By D. Vazquez
Because of my 2 pot a day coffee habit and how much coffee we drink as a family, i have gotten used to the idea that i will be buying a coffee maker every 6 months. It didn't make a difference if i paid $15 or $150 for it not one lasted more than 6 months without making me wait 20-30 minutes for a pot! When i ran across this machine i thought i would try it - that was a year and half ago. It's fast and dependable and needs little cleaning to keep it running fast and can be placed in your dishwasher. I love this machine and now am finally shopping for a new one because the pastic handle on the water chamber broke and i was hoping to trade it for a stainless steel version to match appliances. We really run coffee makers into the ground brewing 3-4 pots a day - but this one can take it and i love not having the glass. The only negative thing i can say is that the plastic part stains on the inside after awhile but really - who cares, it makes a 5 minute pot!!!

4Coffee for all
By pakco
I purchased this coffeepot as a replacment for the same model. It is used in the faculty room of an elementary school by about 40 people, who take turns making coffee daily during the school year. The ease in which the coffee is made, the lack of a glass pot, and especialy, the "push button" pouring makes this an ideal coffee pot for a group. The first pot lasted 2 years with minor problems. The one disadvantage is that the heat element goes off after 2 hours, and one needs to push the on button again to keep the coffee consistently hot.

4Amazing Sound Quality - even after 10 years.
By chili_pep
I believe I purchased these in 2002 and I'm still rocking them.Having worked in a recording studios during college I found that I was so used to using top quality gear and I needed a good pair of headphones for myself. Additionally my roomate was a Drum & Bass DJ, so I tried a number of high quality phones. When I started a new job I went out and got these to block out background noise so I could focus on my work, and they certainly did the trick. Not only did they block out other sound but the quality was supurb.I find the bass to have a fantastic kick, and deep tone. The highs are bright and crisp without being overpowering. These deserve 5 stars for their sound quality. The build quality is also fantastic, even after all these years they clamp tight to my head, and show no signs of wear. BUT, this tightness is why I cannot give it a perfect 5 stars. I find that after significant listening the tightness causes listening fatigue.Overall they are about a 4.5 star headset, but good luck finding better in the pricerange.Fantastic.

5Best value for money.
By Student
These are the best headsets i have had. I have tried those new, more expensive and fancy headsets from dr dre beats, but these beats beat very well in sound quality, especially at the midrange. They are also very robust, cause they need to be (dj's main tool cant fail) My DJ friend have had these since 2001, still working very well.If you want to, you can play very loud without having annoyingly loud hihats and snares. They sound good at any of my favourite genre's, Techno, lounge, rock, trance, classical.Bass is well defined and deep, but not overwhelming like the dr dre.

4The classic, the best.
By Pedro Delguy
This great headphones have great sound for DJing. Light and comfortable. Two downsides: The cover on the cushions are weak so they get broken in a few months no mater how much careful you are. The other one is the wire. I think the one that comes with the silver model is way better. I prefer the curly cable instead.

5Best sound for the money
By Tim C.
I bought these speakers to replace some Harmon Kardons that died on me. I wanted something with good sound since I listen to a lot of music while I am working. (Programming can get REALLY boring...)

These speakers are all I could have wanted and more. The sound is clear as a bell and the speakers do not distort even at high volumes. Highs are clear and these two little speakers can put out some wicked thumping bass. Everyone in the office popped in to my cube to find out where that great sound was coming from.

I have home theater system that does not even come close to sounding as good as these two little speakers! It is making me seriously consider buying a new home theatre system from Bose, or at least building one from Bose components. My Boston Acoustics computer sound system at home (a good system) can't hold a candle to this product either.

Bose is bottom line the best audio equipment in the world, and these speakers are no exception to that rule. If you want to sample Bose quality at a lower price, buy these speakers. If you want great sound but don't want to have one of those computer speaker systems with the huge woofer and all those tiny speakers, buy these Bose speakers!

This product will probably sound better than that stuff anyway.

The speakers have a headphone jack in the front, and are also capable of dual input sound. I don't have a need for dual input but it is nice to know that the capability is there.

My only wish is that these speakers were about 30 bucks cheaper. Can't have it all...

4Seminars & Portable Speakers: These do good, & a secret...
By J. Mock
First off, those who complain about these speakers need to look at the price tag and what these are meant for. If you want the best studio sound, buy the Yamaha MSP5A's at $500 a pair. But pick them up and travel the world with them, you'll wish you had these instead.I've been traveling doing seminars for over 15 years. USA and abroad. I hauled the Fender Passport P150's for 2 years in a hard shell Samsonite. They took the beating, but size and weight (30 lbs+) was a real witch. Then comes 9/11 and a lower airline luggage allowance. I went through a half dozen speakers, none of them held up to traveling. Before the P150's, a dozen different other computer speakers bit the dust. Computer speakers are not meant to travel thousands of miles. Then I found these. $100 was cheaper than many that went in the trash. Perfect sound, no. Decent sound, absolutely. But my use was rooms of various sizes for Powerpoint presentations. The topics included a lot of music. I wasn't playing them in a sound studio to listen to high quality. I had the Yamaha MSP5A's at home for that. I was playing to an audience of 20-500, under all kinds of acoustic challenges. My 1 complaint was these were not loud enough for the bigger rooms and groups. Go figure. Here's the secret. Not for quality, but for volume. These 2 little speakers handled it, and continue to handle it, clearly and no problems. I bought a AA battery operated amplifier called a Boosteroo for $20. It's made for DVD and CD listening on airplanes. It doubles the speaker volume output. Depending on the room's acoustics, they now can be heard clearly by about 300 people. So I bought a second set of these, another boosteroo, and added a Linksys wireless transmitter/receiver for audio. Two of these in front, 2 in the back. 500 people in a big room can hear just fine if they keep the talk down. During presentations, everyone hears clearly what comes out of the speakers, without distortion. And, I added a wireless microphone. These speakers have a second input, and the ability to adjust the output level from each source.Yes, I carry 4 speakers and a bunch of wiring. Under 10 minutes to set it all up for a fast and intense seminar. I have yet to find an easier, smaller, lighter, clearer, durable, and functional speaker setup that travels in one small carry-on bag. I would have paid $1000 easily, still would. But none match these. And I keep looking and trying.Back in the hotel room, 2 of these with my laptop do pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty darn good. For $100, they are well worth it.The on/off switch is the little power cable in the back of the speaker. The plastic knobs are not loose, operate smoothly, and the volume is equal to the distance they are turned. Even after heavy traveling and use. Comparing these to a home stereo system is a bit of a stretch. Hi's, low's, base are ok, especially with the Boosteroo's. Not like having a subwoofer, but also without the weight of a subwoofer. One thing that is a small nuisance is the small sound cable that is permanently installed in the one speaker, vs detachable. I suspect Bose wanted to limit the distance between the 2 speakers, given one is amplified and one is passive pulling sound from the other. For a computer, this cable should be a couple feet longer and better shielded. And detachable. Other than this, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

5There speakers are EXACTLY what I wanted!
By rodgersweb
I've had these speakers for about a week now and have to say I'm totally impressed. They more than adequately fill my home office. When looking at reviews from different sources I noticed that some weren't happy with the sound. I need to add that having a reasonable sound card is important. If you hook these (or any speakers) up to an onboard sound connection on your motherboard you will be disappointed. I was reasonably happy with using just a Soundblaster Live card and yesterday I upgraded to a Soundblaster 5.1. I won't be making any other mods to my pc for improving sound quality. On a scale of 1 to 10 these speakers perform at a 10 for all the music I listen to and games that I play. I couldn't be happier and highly endorse these speakers!!

5So much fun to use!
By A Customer
I have always wanted a KitchenAid Stand Mixer, but always believed it was meant to be a wedding gift. I was so excited to get it as a wedding gift from my mother-in-law. I had to use it immediately!

I've used it to make a couple of cakes and it was so much easier than the old way using my hand mixer. It was quick and easy cleanup and fun to use. Plus, the cakes tasted awesome!

I also used it to mix hamburger meat with bread crumbs and egg. It was a lot easier than doing it by hand--not as much of the messy egg on my hands.

It was the best wedding gift I got. My husband didn't understand why, but it is awesome! I love it.

I recommend getting another bowl and lids. I do a lot of cookie baking and it is nice not to have to transfer bowls when starting a new batch.

4Great Sound for the Price!!!
By d.carson
Just set my system up and love it! Lots of ways to adjust the sounds on each speaker. Various sound settings make it very configurable. What I love is that I can pipe all of my stuff (DVD, CD, VHS, etc.) through here and it all sounds great.

Are there better systems out there? Sure. However, you'll have to pay a lot more money. If you want an inexpensive Home Theater reciever I would definitely recommend this JVC.

And one of the things I love more than anything is the remote. I can control my receiver, my JVC TV, my Sony VHS, and my Panasonic DVD/CD player ALL WITH THIS REMOTE.

4WOW
By A Customer
JVC is known for their reputation of providing excellent audio/video equipment with good reliability and affordable prices. This reciever is a great example of that fact.

First, there is the audio. It connects to a five-channel speaker system to provide the best home theatre experience one can create without being a millionaire. There are all kinds of different sound modes and controls you can use so you can fine-tune and customize whatever it is you want to hear. My favorite(and probably most popular) is the DSP mode. It allows you to re-create a sound "situation" such as what might be similar if heard in a live-club or large auditorium. There is also "digital decompression" which you can use at night to add to the surround effect when music is turned down. An optical digital cable should be used to get the best out of whatever your listening to(or watching) and, unfortunately, radio signals can only be reproduced with analog input. But CDs sound great and the Dolby Pro Logic II is a great feature especially when using the "wraparound" adjustment. On the down side, however, the bass boost is a little bit thin and I'm not sure about the reciever's relationship with my subwoofer.

On the DVD/video side of things you can cleary see that this is what the reciever is geared towards. When you look at the back of the unit you'll notice all the various jacks for TV, VCR, and DVD. It's pretty extensive, mostly because of all the different ways you can set up the connections. There are even other ports you can use to enhance the picture that's produced by the VCR or DVD player, but a coaxial digital cable is required.

Another great thing about the unit is the remote. It really simplifies the operation of all the equipment. You just choose which source you want playback from and your there. Even without the Compulink the remote can still control most items on other JVC sources. From the remote you can also do speaker test and adjust speaker settings, flip from digital to analog output, and choose which sound format you want to hear. But the one thing I found the most dissapointing is that the Comulink III jack doesn't work, it's totally not compatible. So I can't get automatic source selection or power-off. But even then I don't really care that much because the remote does so much by itself.

Anyway, this is a great reciever at a great price. For anyone who's serious about building a serious home entertainment system, they definitely should give this thing a look.

4A clunky remote, but otherwise solid
By Mike in Texas
If you choose the 6030, you are probably drawn by the low price and wealth of audio (and video) input options. It has lots of S-video inputs, a component in, and several audio options. The remote is small and feels fragile with about 14000 buttons. I generally like the unit, but it isn't out of my 30-day period yet and I am considering returning it in part because it generates a low-frequency vibration or hum when turned on. It isn't likely to be noticed by anyone, and doesn't get worse with volume increases. Probably 99.5% of people wouldn't care. It seems to be a good receiver for a low price. I gave it 4 stars because of the flexibility with the inputs - docked a point for the remote and the hum thing. I owned a Sony DE185 briefly before this and had no similar hum with a simpler remote, but not nearly as many I/O options.
