Easy to use and is as accurate as the user is careful. This is not an exact measuring device, but for quick estimates it works very well.

5Excellent sturdy wheel
By Pink Crocodile
Sturdy measuring wheel with a good weight. Used for measuring estimates and inspection work for a civil engineering firm. Heavily used year-round. Works well enough "offroad" not to carry a heavier-weight, heavy-duty wheel. Write your name on it immediately if working around contractors. They tend to get sticky fingers with equipment that works.

4Great for a lightweight wheel
By Pink Crocodile
I have used this wheel for engineering field inspection work. It's great for a backup wheel that stays in the vehicle as it folds in half and doesn't catch on things. No stand to get in the way. I like it for measuring high quantities of pavement. Lightweight for carrying between areas and easy to maneuver. Every wheel we've used of this model has, without exception, ended up with a loose set screw. (The screw that keeps the plastic folding joint set on the handle). Put epoxy on it to stop it from loosening up. There is a warranty, but it will loosen up over time. Every one we've had in the past 10 years has done so. This was just ordered this as a replacement for one that got run over. The screw started to loosen on the second day. Great wheel for the price. Just accept the epoxy fix.

5Great Item... Sorry to Disagree
By Dana Young
I've used this product and numerous other products produced by this company. They have all have been of top grade construction and design.I suppose every company has warranty claims and this manufacturer is not immune, but frankly, expecially based on my own experience with this item, I find it rather hard to believe the reviewer's comments that "...all the welds had broken loose during shipment..." Such a statement seems strangely hyperbolic.Based on my experience with products from this company, I'd say buy it with confidence. I've never been disappionted with one of their products.

5Great item, excellent value.
By L. J. Parker
I was hesitant at first to buy this item. Seemed like a lot of money.I install doors only occasionally and then as only a portion of my scope of work. I had a job with 50 doors to install and decided to buy it.It paid for itself on that job. I wouldn't be without one now and I am planning on buying another. It allows true 1 man installation and removal of large 3-6X7-0 solid core doors. It fits thru door opening easily and really speeds up door installations. I've had mine for 2 years now and it still works great.

5Back Saver
By William T. Workman
The Dorminator is a fantastic labor saver that has taken over most of the back breaking work out of my day when I'm hanging solid core fire rated doors. My doorminator arived, by truck, without any broken welds after a long trip from North Dakota to Southern California. I wish I had this tool 25 years ago it would have saved a lot of time and grief. NOT from China but made solid in the U.S.A. and that's a very inportant feature for me. Bill Workman (CARPENTER 25 YEARS)

4Realistic and Heavy Weight
By Alexey Lisovskiy
I've ordered it for my son (5 y.o. now) as a gift for his 5th birthday. On the package you may find that recommended age is 8+. Truck is quite good in details and well painted and made, except some small plastic ladders attached to front bamp that were disapperaed in few days. Front wheels might be turned left and right, you may also pop up truck body and "unload" truck. We have other die-cast construction machines in 1:50 scale, and this one seems to be the biggest and heaviest one, we are not allowing to our son to use it somewhere else except floor, because if it will fall from his hands to his leg then it might be serious accident with injury.

5The Viking Longboat
By clayton
Wow!I got this toy at my birthday party along with other Viking and Knight toys, and I love to play with this a lot.Ok,you may not believe this, but I'm 11.Why would an 11 year old play with this?Because that 11 year old likes to be able to adventure to another world and get away from the things like big machine guns and other things that don't seem right. Well anyway, this toy is very cool.It is nice that it has 8 (or nine shields counting the other shield that isn't a viking shield.) that fit on the boat. This ship floats on the water. It would probably be fun to stick this in the pool or the bathtub and play with it along with the Sea Serpent.Too bad I only have a shower..I gave this 4 stars in The educational value because it doesn't really teach anything accept measuring the string for the ship. The ship is about 1 1/4 feet long.I would reccomend this to a kid who has other viking sets, especially the Sea Serpent one.

4D-Link works well ... compared to the others
By Wallace Guy
First I tried the NetGear PS101 print server. I liked the spiffy form factor. I could talk to the print server admin web interface and get it to print a test page, but even after many, many hours could never get it to print a document. So I returned it.After that debacle, I decided to splurge for the HP JetDirect. At first I could only get it to print the configuration page. A visit to the HP support forums turned up lots of references to the JetDirect not working with SP2 and the suggested solution was to uninstall SP2. Ugh. Finally I went to the D-Link web site and copied the D-Link installation guide for XP w/SP2. The main difference was that D-Link suggested installing the print server as a local TCP/IP printer instead of a networked printer and, bingo, I got the JetDirect to print. (NOTE: It still goes over the network, it just looks local to the PC.) However I was miffed that I paid double the price for a device which required a competitors documentation to get to work. In addition, DHCP didn't work and I could never get it to show up in my network neighborhood. So ... in a possibly nonsensical move of principle and price, I bought the D-Link DP300U and set up it. It's not trivial to install, but after working with the other two devices, a couple hours of install time seems like nothing. Here are a couple tips ...(1) Do NOT use DHCP. Use a fixed IP address. Unlike the JetDirect, DHCP works. However, it still didn't show up in my network neighborhood and now I didn't know the IP address. There is NO HARDWARE RESET on the device. The D-Link support guy was great. He told me that if I couldn't find the IP address, I would have to send it back to D-Link to be reset (Ugh!). The good news is that he told me how to find it. I went to the router and looked at the DHCP assignment list and got it, and then reset the thing to a nice, fixed IP address in my subnet.(2) I first set it up as per the instructions as a local TCP/IP printer, which means it's still on the network but looks like a local printer to the PC. It worked OK, but did this weird, long pause ... about a minute ... right in the middle of long documents. Again D-Link support was good. They told me to try setting it up as a networked printer, which I did. Unfortunately, this doesn't have spooling and you're back to 1980's wait-for-printing. Then something weird happened that I can not explain ... after setting up the device as a networked printer, I went back to the local TCP/IP printer that I had set up and it worked perfectly. Don't know how it got fixed. My PC is a Dell laptop w/ wireless connection to an access point, and then wired to a router and the print server. My printer is an HP Deskjet 5550.So, in the end I'm sticking with the D-Link product and I am happy with it. I would have rated it 3 stars as an overall product, but bumped my rating to 4 stars because I still thought it was the best of the ones I had tried. The itty-bitty-print-server market could use some improvement.Enjoy!

4DP300U = Printing Freedom!
By A Customer
Though not very explicitly described as the DP300U, I took a chance and ordered it. It was indeed what I expected when it arrived several days ahead of schedule. I put the print server on a mac/pc wired/wirless home network, effectively replacing two older desktop machines. This unit has two parallel ports and one USB port, and connects to a network router via an ethernet cable. (No cables are supplied, but this was no surprise.) There's also the inevitable power cord with transformer block plug, but this pleasingly small one doesn't hog too much space on the power strip. Setup was physically simple, but software-wise it was a bit of a challenge. Mac OS X requires (free) gimp-print and ghostscript software to allow postscript emulation on non-postscript printers. Gimp-print includes drivers for popular inkjet and laser printers, but I had to search the Web for a third-party OS X Samsung laser printer driver (also free, thanks UNIX community). Standard Windows XP drivers worked fine. After installing all the drivers and whatnot, setting up the print queues on the print server was pretty straightforward. My printers now work without having to be connected to aging desktop machines, and I can print wirelessly from a Mac or PC laptop in any room in the house. Very liberating.

3Dlink print server, works, but only with work....
By Daniel G. Hyams
This Dlink print server works fine once you figure it out; I am fairly computer and network savvy, but it still two me two hours to get this thing working.

The instruction manual is a little inadequate; you know to use caution when they misspell the word "parallel" consistently. It would help a great deal to explain what to do if your network does not lie in the 192.168.0.0 network range, as mine does not. I knew what to do immediately when I saw that they preset the IP to 192.168.0.10, but I am sure that many folks would not.

main gripe:I had one parallel port printer, and one USB port printer. The USB printer *refused* to work; even the print server itself didn't know that it was connected. After trying everything I knew, I finally upgraded the firmware to 1.20 (it was shipped with 1.10). Presto; it worked. However, shame on Dlink for shipping a device that only half-works. To their credit, none of the configuration on the device that I had already done was destroyed by the firmware update, unlike some of their other devices that I own.

I am also noticing abnormally slow ping returns from this device. Every computer on my network returns a ping in 0.2ms; this device returns on in 3ms. This might be expected behavior, but I just thought I would mention it. (BTW, before the firmware upgrade, the ping time was an obsene 300ms!)

Printing photographs on my color printer takes around three times as long as when the color printer is directly connected to a computer. However, this very well might be that I was printing from my laptop over a 5Mbps wireless connection. I will try again later with the laptop connected over the 100Mbps wired connection, to see if this critique is fair.

All in all, I am pleased now; however, two hours of my time were burned up by a device that only half worked when I received it.

5Single Guy Learns to Love Cooking
By Alex Smith
Concern 1: Stick & BurnI cook a lot but I'm always in a hurry. Young, single guy on a budget. I need to cook quickly. For this reason, I had almost gone with non-stick. Most likely hard-anodized. That would have been a mistake. Stick is non-existent with these pans. First thing I did was to take out the 8" frying pan and fry and egg, the ultimate test of stick. I listened to the reviews. Let the pan heat up first, add the butter, then the egg. I nervously went for the flip expecting the egg to be stuck, but it was so slick it almost hit the ceiling when I flipped it. The egg came out perfect and the pan was clean as new with some hot water and dish soap. I never thought I'd have such a stupid grin from flipping an egg. I've heard quality has a huge affect on the stickiness of stainless and this is obviously quality.Concern 2: Use & CleanupBefore this set, I cooked mostly with cast iron (and some horribly old teflon, but we won't talk about that). Cast iron was great, but the cleanup was terrible, the pans were so heavy and don't even get me started on the seasoning. Not to mention you can't use acids in cast iron. With my new stuff, all of that is thrown out the window. They are light enough to work with easily, transfering from stove-top to oven. And cleanup is a breeze. I haven't cooked anything yet that hasn't come up with hot water and dish soap. There are odd-colored stains here and there from use, but those are removed easily with Bar Keepers friend. Other than that, they are idiot proof, which is great for me making bacon and eggs drunk at 4 am. Which came out perfect, by the way.Concern 3: PriceThis was a big one. If you'd asked me 2 weeks ago if I was going to drop $350 on cookware, I'd have called you crazy. That's what I earn in a week. But one night, I'm cooking and my teflon pan is flaking. Gross. I grab the cast iron, nearly breaking my wrist and I'm fed up. The search begins and this is wear I really shine. I did days of research to find the best I could afford. That was about half this much. A nice set of Rachel Ray Hard Anodized. At the end of the day, though, it was the reviews that led me to the right choice. People explained to me the difference between an aluminum wrap and just a bottom coating. How much even heat distribution will affect stick and even cooking. How no matter how good, non-stick will lose it's non-stick coating, but stainless will last forever. Up the ladder I went until I found this set. At the price, it's a steal for this quality but it comes to whether you need this particular set. Many people say the pieces are too small. As a singe guy, I find them perfect. I think for a family of 2-3 they would be excellent as well. Conclusion: The cooking world is now my oyster and I plan on tackling it head on. I've got a list of recipes prepared and these bad boys and I are going to knock 'em out together. If you're looking to give yourself a way to cook and I mean really cook, invest in yourself and invest in some excellent stainless.edit: After over two years of use, the pans are showing some serious wear, mostly in part to the outside finish that others have complained about. I'm dropping a star because if they had not had the aluminum finish they would still look much nicer.

5A great start to a good kitchen
By J. Mullin
Theis set gives a good start for premium cookware. The brushed exterior is great if you don't like to polish your pots and pans all the time. I've found MC2 to the be the best in terms of balancing maintenance and quality of cooking. I have a few other pans that are coper or cast iron, but the majority of my cooking is now done in the these (and a few supplement pieces) of the MC2 line.

5ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!
By Kaye Henry
This set is my 2nd set of cookware, the first being Calphalon One. I have no problems with Calphalon One and thought it was the best until I came across and bought this All Clad MasterChef 2 10 pc set. Provided you know how to cook in them, you'll absolutely adore them, always preheat and set your fire low to medium, never high! For a person like me who loves to cook, this is no doubt the best cookware I have had. I am also looking to purchase the All Clad LTD 10 pc set in the near future. I am so excited already!
