Absolutely Adorable!

I bought this country fair for my 4 yr. old daughter. She has almost all the Sweet Streets homes and stores excluding the hotel. She loves this one and never stops playing with it. It is the newest addition to the Sweet Streets Collection. Now, the people have somewhere to go for entertainment! LOL! The country fair comes complete with a horse and pig for competition for best in show! It has a trapeze and a trapeze artist. She really slides across too. There is a country fair man who sells the tickets or helps people on the rides. There is ride that spins and it has cups for the people to sit in. There is a balloon that detaches from the building for putting the people in for a ride in the sky. I know that I forgot something but I am sure that you get the idea. It folds nicely like the rest of the Sweet Streets Collection. Being that it has only a few pieces makes cleanup a breeze. This means less chances of pieces getting lost and very portable. My daughter loves the horse as does most girls at this age. She does have the other Sweet Streets people visit the fair. She went to a circus a couple of months ago and loves re-inacting her experience. I rated this as educational because it requires my daughter to use her imagination. My daughter has to play with her own creativity rather than listening to a battery operated toy telling her what to do not to mention, when the batteries die the fun stops! My daughter plays with her friends with this one in particular. This appears to be the favorite amongst her friends too. I highly recommend this item for its price, portability, durability, unique, and fun qualities.

Small toy, big fun!

My daughter loves going to the fair so I thought this would be a good gift and it was -- she LOVES it. We have a few of the sweet streets and they are great because they are a lot of fun for pretend play but they don't take up space. This by far is my four year olds favorite sweet street. My two year old also enjoys playing with it as well. And, they don't cost too much! I highly recommend.

One Of The Best Toys Available

My daughter has the whole collection and loves them more than any toy she owns. They are extremely durable and easy to put away. She spends hours creating her own town, playing with the little people and rearranging all the furniture. Her dad even enjoys this game! One of the best things about this series is that you can buy one or two (or collect the entire town) and it is still just as much fun. Every house comes with everything you need (nothing else to buy) and is an extremely good value for your money. Can't wait for them to make more!

Musical Optical Character Recognition

This is a very good software program for converting printed music into actual music as well as into usable computer midi files. If you are keyboard challenged and have a bunch of old sheet music lying around and want to know what it would sound like, just scan the music sheets into your computer and Smartscore can convert it into karaoke style music with you following the bouncing ball in just a few minutes. Of course there are many other musical uses as well as described in the included 266 page User Manual.A similar product from Visiv in England called SharpEye, about the same price, does better in accurately scanning with less mistakes, but it has far fewer features.

I take it back

Please don't buy this software it doesn't work well at all, it was a waste of my money. One page of my music came out alright after I had to do a little work on it, like scanning about 10 times . But the other two pages were completely wrong. I spent more time correcting the errors then I would have just writing the music out right in finale print music. The free software that comes with Finale print music is better than the one I bought for $169.. I had to uninstall it and just use the free one which is a whole lot better.Please please please don't waste your money----------------update------------After going through two,all-in-one scanner -printers, I did more research and found that a stand alone scanner would work better. I wish they had told me this before I purchase the new HP all-in-one printer ,however I did buy a stand-alone cheap Canon scanner and now everything is working fine, sorry for the scathing review before. please please please buy a standalone print and save yourself the headache that I put myself through. Once again I want to say sorry to Smart Score and please put more i emphasis on a stand alone scanner. Now this is a great product thank you

Great for home office

When in my home office, I am on the phone 5-7 hours a day. I have tried many combinations of phones and headsets and have never been satisfied with the voice quality. I also run a wireless network and have had problems in the past with 2.4 Ghz phones causing interference. The Plantronics CT12 is the answer to all my problems:

* portable - small belt unit is light, offers great battery life and includes all the features I need* great headset - sound quality is equal to that of a handset (people do not know you are on a headset); comfortable with two fit options, Firefly function is nice bonus* Caller-ID - included on belt unit, works as expected* 2.4 Ghz - range is good, does not cause interference with my wireless network (previous phones from Panasonic and others have)

Only negative is that you cannot answer or otherwise use the phone while it is charging (must remove the belt unit from the charger). All in all, highly recommended.

I got this headset phone after using a Plantronics headset with my standard office phone for years. I didn't get it as a replacement, only as an option to allow me to move around while on tedious conference calls but without holding a brick up to my ear or carrying one on my belt.In any case, the bottom line is that this phone is the only game in town for an inexpensive, super-compact phone with decent range - but it is completely incompatible with wireless networks.I did my original review after using the unit for a few days. What follows are some comments after using the phone on and off for nearly 3 years...Wireless Networks:I originally believed I had found the secret code to not having this phone knock out my wireless network. In summary, since my wireless network was on channel 6, I switched the channel on my network to 11, rebooted all of the computers that use the wireless network and then hit the "channel" button on the phone a couple of times. At the time, that did the trick, the phone was completely compatible with my wireless network.Sometime in the last year or so, maybe with a router firmware update or something, the phone now reliably and completely knocks out my wireless network to the point of needing a router reboot. For this reason, my rating is now 1 star (or less), down from 3 stars - except that I can't change the star-rating in the Amazon review editor interface.Audio Quality:Both the incoming and outgoing (as heard on the other end of the phone line) are very good. In fact, my own tests found that the audio quality on the other end of the phone line is better than with my wired Plantronics headset (and, amazingly, with the handset for that phone). However, the volume on the incoming audio needs to be jacked up to maximum most of the time in order to be generally audible. This also amplifies my own voice as heard in the headset when I talk. The audio quality of my own voice in the headset is miserable (I'm curious if others have noticed this too). It sounds fuzzy and over-amplified (which I guess it is) and is distracting, though I'm hoping I get used to it. Fortunately, this fuzziness is not sent to the other end of the phone line.Comfort:My unit came with both a "hook on the ear" configuration and an over-the-head configuration. I have to say that the earpiece that hooks onto your ear could be a *lot* more comfortable and easier to adjust. I have a Motorola HS810 earpiece that I use with my cell phone and it is reasonably comfortable for something that is hanging on your ear. The Plantronics "hook on the ear" earpiece needs some softening to make it more comfortable and a little reconfiguration to make it easier to slip on.The net-net is that I finally gave up on the hook-on-the-ear earpiece because it was so uncomfortable. Switching to the over the head configuration is great. The earpiece is comfortable and the audio is louder, so I don't have to crank the volume up to maximum.In summary, while I like this phone because it is compact, has good range and provides good outgoing and incoming sound quality, the wireless network incompatibility makes it a non-starter. I also don't like the volume situation, how my own voice sounds to me or the comfort of the hook-on-the-ear earpiece. Would I buy again? Likely not.

Great new product!

Big improvement over the predecessor model CT10 since Plantronics has added a caller ID feature and an in-use indicator light to this one. If you are looking for a single-line cordless telephone for your home or small office, and if you don't mind not having the option of a traditional cordless handset receiver to hold up to your ear, you will like this model. Be aware that you have to use the headset for every call (no handset), so if several members of a family use the same phone, get yourself some spare ear cushions for hygeine. The only negative is that the dial pad buttons are very, very small, so maybe I would not recommend this for some elderly users, visually impaired users or anyone who feels more comfortable with larger buttons to press.

It's about time Barbie had "older" dolls!

My mother has already bought these for my five year old for Christmas, and I can't wait until she gets them...the dolls are adorable, and I love the whole kitchen concept. I'm a fan of the happy family series, and I think these are a marvelous addition. As much as my daughter loves her grandparents I know they'll be a hit.

happy family kitchen

My three year old daughter loves this toy! She loves playing in the kitchen especially with the little blender. She thinks that it is really neat that her dolls have grandparents. Infact she loves the whole Happy Family set. I have really seen her use her imagination with this set. It seems to be a welcome change with the technology availible today. She is using her mind instead of her fingers with video games!

Awesome toy

pros:

Everything, the toy is great. A winding blender, storage (real cabinets, drawers, refrigerators) for all those little toys needed to play in a barbie sized kitchen. And inside and outside flip down table and a chair with a boster seat for Ryan.

The grandparents are excellent dolls. Grandpa's hair is the same pretty rooted curly hair seen on African American Alan, except his is a handsome gray/ black color. Grandma has pretty rooted hair with gray streaks. And both faces have age lines, yet still retain the image the grandparents have aged gracefully. They actually used new body molds, they didn't just stick 'older' heads on Barbie and Ken bodies. Grandpa is stockier around the waist and Grandma is plumper than Barbie. I think Mattle should consider using these body molds for younger dolls, just to add some variety into the 'perfect shape' dolls of the Barbie line.

cons:Well, there aren't any. Just a question. How hard is it to make african-american versions of the decals? If you're going to make a african-american option to the set, at least allow the pictures of the children in the African American set to match the African-American version of the Happy family. It sucks the African-American grandma's kitchen has pictures of grandchildren that aren't hers. I'm sure it wouldn't add much cost to the set to provide an option of what pictures to display.

Disheartened and Disturbed

While the product is a welcome addition to the "Happy Family" line and an excellent idea in the ever expanding world of Barbie, my 6 year old daughter and I were disheartened that the "family photographs" included on the sticker sheet did not reflect nor depict the African-American family we purchased, hence, the 3 star rating. If you choose to purchase this particular product be aware that the accessories included will not reflect the product in the box. To a 6 year old little girl this was incomprehensible. She felt it detracted from the realism of the product which affected her pretend play. While we purchase dolls representative of all cultures we predominantly buy African-Amer. dolls because we are.

The eyes have it.

My 18mo old recieved this toy for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. However, Elmo's eyes are big and made of a hard plastic. I would not say the eyes are dangerous but, they have caused a few tears during rough play.

Watch out for the eyes!

My daughter loves elmo, so I thought this would be perfect for her. However, the head is extremely floppy and the eyes bonk her on the head all the time. I've also been hit on the head with the eyes and it hurts!! They shouldn't be made out of such hard plastic!!

A MUST HAVE!

Could anything be cuter than a child in awe of her favorite character? We look on in wonder as our 21 month old watches Elmo on tv with a smile across her face. We brought her to meet the Sesame Street gang at Sesame Place in Pennsylvania, and she literally hugged Elmo for almost 5 minutes. When we bought this huge stuffed toy for her as a surprise, she couldn't stop squeezing and hugging him. Just PERFECT for a toddler who loves this fuzzy red little guy.The toy has withstood the contant hugging, pulling and mouthing of our two children for almost one year now and it's needed nothing more than a surface cleaning with a damp cloth. Eyes are a bit heavy and clunky, so if your child accidentally knocks their head against Elmo's face, they will feel the bump...kind of a little too hard, maybe they could have made the eyes stuffed plush instead of hard plastic. Other than that, this toy is wonderful, not educational, just so darned cute and cuddly. No batteries required, no parts to lose, just simple, huggable fun.

Great sculpt, not the best action figure

This is a great looking toy with a nice paint job, good detailing and a nice rubber cape. There aren't a great number of points of articulation, though. The knees and elbows don't even bend, and the arms and legs only swing to and fro. This toy's strength is that it remains true to how the character originally appeared in the Kingdom Come comic. Unless you're wedded to the idea of getting a Kingdom Come toy, I wouldn't recommend this. There are better action figures out there to play with.

Very awesome if your a Red Robin fan!

This action figure I feel is superb! If your a Red Robin fan you will be pleased. Even though this action figure as made back when Red Robin wasn't as big as he is today, it's still one of the best ones made. This represents the Red Robin that came out a few years back when the Kingdom Come storyline was made. This was when again he wasn't that big and various characters temporary assumed the R.R. identity. This story line of K.C's Red Robin that this figure represents is Dick Grayson. One of the main things I love about this figure is that it looks a lot like the official Red Robin Tim Drake (the current one). Tim Drake is the one who is making R.R. very popular and this action figure looks a lot like him. As far as the toy in general. It's very durable, made from great material, cape is flexible plastic, and the paint job is perfect. The only downside is that the price is a little high for a toy. These are very rare and hard to find, so in a way, it's really worth buying, like I said especially if your a Red Robin fan. Nothing like having the Tim Drake Red Robin comics and this action figure to look at. IT'S EPIC in my opinion of taste. I give this a 9.5 out of 10. The -5% because of the price, but not all that bad.

red robin looks way awesome he looks just like how he did in the kingdom come graphic novel(which is the best thing that has happened to comics since dark knight returns) from his shiny black gloves up to his blue eyes looks dead alike the comic character but why is he so small? I know superman and captain marvel are supposed to be big but everyone just towers over red robin I didnt think he was still the boy wonder I thought he was a full grown man hahaha anyway I would still say to buy him to go along with your collection because the detail here is just incredible
