1Do Not Buy This Item!
By Jmac
I had a terrible experience with this scope and with Bushnell in general. Even though it plainly states on the Bushnell website that they will stand behind their product with a warranty, do not believe them! They will just tell you the scope was not defective and that you damaged it. I used this scope on one hunting trip and the magnification adjustment stopped working. I sent it back to them and all they gave me was a chance to buy another scope for a $10 reduction in price. Also, this process took about 3 months! Terrible product, Terrible company. Save your money and buy a decent brand!

4Great camo design! Good scope!
By A. Hansen
I have usually been a Redfield scope guy, and I cannot afford Leupold's, but this Bushnell Banner has been a good scope for me. Perfectly matching my camo on my gun and the Circle X plex. Worth the money!

5big B does it for me
By timbercamo1
was looking for a camo scope for my.22 and came across this one, I thought 'cool, Bushnell and same camo as my rifle, can't go wrong', very clear optics and I like the fine line crosshair inside a small circle duplex type reticle, it has finger adjustable turrets with positive clicks as you turn them, it's not my cheapest scope or my most expensive but it's at least my second favorite.

5Good Eye Relief
By Samuel C. Toth
It say's 6" eye relief, but it is more like 10",great for a big bore short range gun like my .444,and groups tight even at 100 yards 3"-5".

5Sturdy workhorse!
By Cdaveat
Bought this scope to go on my 12 Gauge slug shotgun. It has been through rain/sleet/snow and like the postman (of old) it has always performed. Not going to win any beauty pageants (those are for wimps anyway), but it will hold a zero for you in tough weather!

5On target
By Planker
This scope does exactly what the discription says! I have more than 6" of eye relief. I have this scope on a 3.5" rifled slug gun and grouping 3" at 100 yards the first day out on the range. I dont see any reason why it wouldent be grouping the same at 150 yards the next time out.

Put your money down. I don't think you'll get a better pair of glasses for the price.Great Birding Glasses for the scrubs. 8x42 are better in lower light but 10x42 is a better at spotting birds that are far away.I bought 2 and feel great about the purchase.

5Bushnell warrants Katrina
By Mark Truxillo
Actually I had purchased the predecessor to this model approximately 24 years ago. They were repaired under warranty once at about 10 years, when I made the mistake of leaving them in my boat with a black tarp cover, in the New Orleans summer sun for 3 months. Everything in the boat was baked, and the binnoculars developed a fog inside. Then in 2005 Katrina flooded my St. Bernard home with 12' of water for 3 weeks. The Bushnells had seeped storm surge seawater and dissolved gypsum sheetrock inside. This time Bushnell simply replaced the old warriors with a new modern set. I think I have put these optics through 2 rather unreasonable trials and Bushnell has stood by them, no questions asked! I am very impressed with a company waranty like that and intend to show my loyalty to Bushnell in return. Good stuff from good people.

5Awesome!
By klub
My husband and I both have a pair of these binos. We live on a lake and like to view boats going by and to watch the hummingbirds fly into our patio area... these binos are great for distance and close up. They make a full moon seem like you are almost there. You can also see things at night, like animals in the dark, much more clearly than with regular binos. We take them in the boat since they are waterproof. We love them and recommend them highly... a great deal for the price!!! We have had ours for at least seven years and they are just as good as when we bought them and they have gone with us all over the country. I shopped at every sporting goods store and army surplus by us before I bought them, and we are delighted with the quality. They are warranteed for life from Bushnell, we had an older pair that needed some work, sent them to Bushnell and they repaired them and returned them for free. Great customer service for the life of the binos... no receipt, no questions asked... just send them to Bushnell and they will fix if they can or offer you another pair at their cost.

5Crisp Image, Great
By J. Jackson
Big, bulky, manly! Yes, I like all that! Not a dainty set of binoculars, that's for sure, but that's really, really okay! The light gathering capability of these binoculars is great. The image is crisp, bright and clear, even, and especially, at night. The individual left/right focus threw me off at first; I'm used to a focus wheel. But once I "sighted" them in, they worked great. I really liked the indention for the fingers on the top of the barrels. Nice touch. I had trouble getting the shipment on time, but the seller quickly resolved the problem, and I'm pleased. Good buy. I recommend.

4Lenox China Nativity 3-piece set
By M. Webster
Product was as depicted and arrived promptly and in excellent condition. Unfortunately, it was not a match with the set my gift recipient needed (not the fault of Amazon or the vendor). When I had to return it, the vendor was extremely accomodating to my situation and worked to find the appropriate Lenox set. I compliment her highly on her professionalism and personal care. I would definitely purchase from her again.

5Big LCD Monitor at a Good Price
By David Rolfe
The Samsung 213t is significantly cheaper than other 21.3" monitors, although it should be noted that you'll spend a lot less on a 20" monitor. So if you're looking at this one, you'd better value that extra inch. Should you? This depends on whether you like high pixel density or low pixel density. The 21.3" monitor yields about 94 dpi (dots per inch); a 20" monitor is more like 100 dpi. Some of the smaller 1600x1280 displays (especially for laptops) go above 120 and even 130 dpi, and some people prefer the high density, even though the text gets smaller. WinXP has a setting to increase font and dialog box sizes based upon the local dpi, but this is imperfect, since graphics, unlike fonts, are not resized. We can argue theory forever, but the essential question is, what do you find easiest on your eyes? For me, the lowest dpi is most comfortable, because it draws larger characters, but I know of people who prefer the high numbers. If you're like me and you want low dpi and a lot of screen real estate, this is your monitor, at least in 2004. (There's a wider model, the 243t (24"), but it costs about twice as much.) The 213t price has been dropping over the year (with periodic rebates!) and may drop farther, and this model may well be replaced before long. With any modern LCD monitor, be sure to use the digital connection to a DVI video card. The digital connection assures that the monitor will display *exactly* what the PC intends. If you use the VGA analog connection, you'll be open for some smearing and ghosting. The 213t has no frills (no speakers, no USB). Its response time (25 ms) isn't as fast as some other monitors, so it's not the optimal choice for gaming or video. But it's a sharp, clear, large display. For the market niche it fills, it's the best monitor at the best price.

5Wow I love it !
By Dave in Phoenix
Strengths:Crystal clear images. Excellent contrast and brightness, Portrait ModeWeaknesses:Pivot software seems to cause an IE error every time I tilt it. Sometimes have to reboot but comes back ok.I researched this and other review sites for months before jumping in. Local stores Circuit City, Best Buy etc only had the silver model and I much prefer the black beauty. I had been using a 21" Sony Trinitron CRT (actually Dell's version) for many years so I was use to large monitor but wanted the brightness and easy to move LCD instead of my old beast that takes so much space.Easy to set up once I realized had to also push the button on the front to turn on, not just the rocker switch in back .. dah...... Quite good manual on the CD vs very short install instruction book in zillions of languages. I upped the contrast and brightness to 90+ but wasn't that bad at default settings.I was hesitant to use my NVidia GeForce2 MX 32mb with no DVI but wow, I was shocked at how clear and nice the video is even using analog.I LOVE, absolutely LOVE Portrait mode and will probably almost always use it. Websites so nice to see so much of vertically and never have to scroll horizontally. A bit small at 1900x1200 (I was use to 1280/something) but not bad and I can easily hit Ctl-+ and increase size in increments (use Maxthon browser not IE). Word documents great and my e-mails....I see long messages so much easier with all the length of the screen and never been a problem too narrow at 1900/1200 portrait.I liked the 213T so much I immediately ordered a second. Too bad the $100 rebate doesn't apply to the 2nd monitor per the disclosure.[...]This is my first night using the 213T and it has met or exceeded all my expectations. Other than the IE has to stop error I have gotten every time I've pivoted with Pivot Pro, have had no problems, just wonderful monitor to use.Its now 4:30 am and I am enjoying it too much to go home and go to bed :(

5Portrait Mode a Plus and Great for Movies!
By David
I bought this monitor after browsing monitors ranging in size of 17" to 21". The size is spectacular, although the price from a 19" to 20" to 21" is significant, so only get this one if you value those extra 1 or 2 inches or will outgrow one of the smaller sizes (note the resolution jump from 19" to 20" though). I was a bit nervous when I purchased this monitor because I wasn't sure if the extra few hundred were worth it, but I am very please so far. It is huge, sharp, switches to portrait mode (more convenient than you may think), and plays movies quite well. The portrait mode is great for documents and surfing the web. I can view 1 1/2 pages of Word documents and search web pages faster. Be sure to get the software to switch your computer to portrait mode (I'm not sure if it usually comes with the monitor; I use PivotPro). I also sometimes do homework with as much viewing space of the document as a 17" monitor and still have a movie playing in the bottom quarter of the screen... one of the many conveniences of the portrait mode. Also, increase the sensitivity of your mouse (or get a mouse with more sensitivity) so scrolling across the screen isn't an inconvenience.I watch movies quite frequently and, when viewing from 4' or more away, the only noticable differences from a TV is higher resolution in the monitor (pro) and very slight distortion with fast movements (con, but barely noticable). I haven't played games on this monitor (yet), so I cannot vouch for the performance there.Overall, I am very pleased. Also, no dead pixels or blemishes (at least yet). I don't think I will ever outgrow this monitor; an increase in size would actually be an inconvenience for most of my uses because then there is too much to keep track of (only pros I can think of for a larger monitor would be dual document viewing and a larger screen for movies). I would highly recommend this monitor for anyone considering an 18" through 24" monitor!

4Sony MDS JE 480

If you like minisdiscs, this is a good recorder. The earlier version 500 series had more features. I miss the headphone jack, but like the SF edit that allows me to raise the entire volume of the disc. Overall, a good purchase.

5Do you have a large analog music collection?
By lesath
I've always loved music, particularly portable music, be it 45s, 8 tracks, cassettes, cds, and our modern offerings. I recall when cassettes became so easy to create, we thought we had reached the promised land. Then the cd format stepped in and changed the world. Digital files and home computers opened some fantastic doors, while closing some others. I have an extensive collection of analog sourced music, and have fought the battle of converting it to digital for years. Until the purchase of this unit, I have been dissatisfied with the results. I have converted analog to wav or mp3 with mixed results, mostly with less that acceptable quality to both my ipod and MD. In respects to the MD, most of the problems seem related to the software Sony has provided us with. However, Sony has also presented us with a solution in respects to this unit. If you would like to take the computer out of the equation and simply record in a format superior to cassette, this is it. If you have the old skills of cueing music on a turntable, or other analog source, salvation is at hand. This device fits into your old component system via RCA cords, or by an optical cable (digital). Also, the basic understanding of making a cassette applies directly to the operation of this device. You have to realize that you won't be improving the sound quality of your analog recording, but you will be able to replicate it and carry it with you much easier than ever before. MD is a fantastic format for those of us who came from a different time and like to have the ability to physically change what is in the player, as opposed to sifting through the flash or hard drive of a portable player. For those of us with a portable MD player/recorder, and a home system, this should be a welcome addition to your audio toolbox.

5SONY Mini Disc
By Medley Man
The Mini Disc format lost out to inferior CDs, just because CDs came first. MD is a far superior format to any other consumer format available today. It's has editing capabilities that can't be performed with any other format. Such as, cut and paste, change volume level for any portion of a track/disc, full text entering and displaying. You can even make very good medleys with this system, by cutting and pasting bits of songs together. The disc itself is very, very durable compared to the CD format, The sound quality is as good as CDs. This format deserves to be number one choice of music lovers. Sorry, SONY.
