Great alternative to APC batteries, but connectors didnt fit

Bought this for an APC 2200 SmartUps. Was listed as supported, but didn't fit out of the box. Had to change out the connectors on the batteries. Otherwise great product.

best bottles around - forget the rest!

When my son was born, we tried sampling bottles from several different manufacturers, including Evenflo, Triflow, Avent, etc. Dr Brown's bottles really are the best in preventing gas, bottle leakage, and flow problems. We ended up throwing all other bottles away. I had read other reviews about the small parts being difficult to wash, but I don't really have a problem with that. We don't have a dishwasher and I end up hand washing everything. Each set of bottles comes with a tiny brush for getting into the small spaces for the inner parts to the bottles; and a regular bottle brush works fine with the bottles themselves. I can wash and fill 9 bottles in under 20 minutes (perfect timing when putting my son down for a nap). My only suggestion is to bypass getting 4 oz bottles and go right for the 8 oz bottles. We started off with the 4 oz bottles and now, at 3 months old, our son is already up to 6 oz at a feeding. So, we had to pack away the 4oz bottles and go out and buy a bunch of the larger size.

So far, so good...

Our one-month old daughter has had quite a talent for spitting-up about a 4-oz. bottle's worth of formula two to three times a day. We had been using Avent, which seemed to work just fine for our first daughter, but not for no. 2. Thus, after reading lots of reviews (and realizing that every bottle has some great reviews and some terrible reviews!) -- and on our pediatrician's recommendation -- we tried Dr. Brown's. Over the course of the last three days, our daughter has spit-up only once. I will admit that the guy standing next to me at the local store said that his kid spit-up a lot more with Dr. Brown's but that they have had great luck with Playtex...so I suppose it really does depend on your kid. My advice is to buy one bottle from a few different systems and start trying them until you find one that works well after several consecutive feedings.Complaint rebuttals:COST - without the right bottle, you'll spend as much on laundry detergent (for baby's bibs and clothes...as well as your own!) as you would on "better" bottles, so you may as well go ahead and get the right bottles now...and given all of the "patented" no-gas bottle systems out there now, Dr. Brown's really isn't that much more than the other ones.DIFFICULTY IN CLEANING - deal with it. First of all, if you give a bottle a good rinse immediately after using it (rather than letting it sit around to collect a crust....anyone with a toddler has probably discovered an old bottle or sippy cup under the couch), then cleaning is not a problem. I'll spend an extra 30 seconds on a cleaning if it means my kid is not going to yack on me.LEAKING - No bottle is guaranteed not to leak. We've had Avents that leaked, and Avents that didn't. We've had Evenflo sippy cups that leaked, and Evenflo sippy cups that didn't. So far, no leaking on Dr. Brown's for us, but I fully expect that eventually one of them will leak for one reason or another. It happens.

Consider narrow necked Dr. Brown bottles instead

I purchased the wide mouthed bottles for my twins. Could not figure out why the formula kept leaking out of the side of their mouths. One of my daughters lost at least 1/3 of her bottle each time. Very frustrating and very messy. This did not happen at all when I switched to the narrow necked Dr. Brown's bottle.HELPFUL HINT for all Dr. Brown bottles: When pulling nipple thru the collar, everytime run your finger around the base of the nipple inside the plastic collar to make sure it is fully seated before screwing nipple and collar on to the bottle. Eliminates leaks completely. And do NOT over-tighten collar onto bottle. Again, will prevent leaks. We learned all of these tricks the hard way! :)Mother of twin girls from Texas

Perfect little cottage...

I have two daughters, ages 2 and 4 and they love playing house, having tea party's with the table and two seats included in the cottage, and talking on the phone (also included). Love how this playhouse has a floor. Easy to assemble (recommend an electric drill). You definitely can't beat the price. It is smaller than the other playhouses and would be difficult for an adult to sit in there. But the large windows make peaking in a breeze.

great house, great price

This house has all the features of the more expensive houses, for a better price. It was easy to put together (although the faucet doesn't connect to the sink as well as I'd like it to). The floor is wonderful, and after it rains or we hose it down, it drains very well-the only place any water collects is the sink and one of the seats. Don't leave the cordless phone in the house if it's outside though, ours got waterlogged and wouldn't stop ringing, I had to pull the batteries out and let it dry out again. The house isn't too big, no more than 2 kids can play very comfortably, but that wasn't a big deal for us. My son has been playing in it since he could cruise around, loves opening the door and shutters.

Our daughter LOVES her new house!!!

Our 18 month old daughter, Madilyn, absolutley adores her new house (BIG THANKS to Lolo and Lola who sent the $$$). My husband, his friend, and I put the house together in 30 minutes. We put it out in the backyard. It doesn't take up that much room at all (So if you have a small yard, this is perfect). She loves ringing the doorbell and going in and out (and in and out again). She likes to open and close the shutters to play peek-a-boo. She also loves the cordless phone that came with it...it looks like our real phone. She says, "Hel-lo" and hands it to me. The floor is very sturdy (I crawled in and sat in there with her). We live in an area that has A LOT of pollen. Yesterday we noticed that there was a layer of it on the floor. We just took the water hose and hosed it down. The drainage holes work great! She couldn't wait until it dried, so needless to say she came out with wet shorts. She fits perfect on the molded-in seats. If you have a larger toddler, it may pose a problem. There may not be enough space between your child and the table. She also loves to stick things through the mailbox. All-in-all this is an AWESOME buy. It keeps our daughter entertained for hours. We also bought the Step2 Water and Sand Table and the Step2 Big Folding Slide. Between all that, her two ride-on toys, and her sandbox, the backyard looks like a fun park! P.S. Be sure to have someone push against the table while you screw it in...the screw might not go in at all.

MailMaster Stone Hill Mailbox is terrific!

We just purchased a new home and the former mailbox had been knocked down. We wanted something different and cute, but durable, as we are planning to open a bed & breakfast at this location. This mailbox was just the ticket! It's just as good-looking as it appears in the picture, and very well-built. Once we got the post set in the ground, the setup was a snap. Never thought that much about a mailbox before, but this one is terrific!

Great home enhancer

The MailMaster Mailbox is easy to install, put over existing 4x4 post. My home is a Bedford Stone Ranch and it matches very close,the road is over 120 ft away it and looks super setting out there. It's pretty big. Sturdy and tight, the magnets work well on the doors. Very happy with the purchase, the price,the quality, and the delivery was fast. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to update your property or upgrade a tacky old mailbox. My mailman commented he really likes it. Said it was snazzy. 11-27-12 As a follow up to my 6-11 review after a year and a half and a winter on US 40 with snow plows determined to destroy it as they had the previous mail boxes, it withstood the assaults and still looks like new. Sun salt and acid rain and no fading. Very Happy

Great Mailbox

I was worried when this mailbox was delivered, the box was all caved in and the tape that holds the bottom seams was undone. But when I opened the box everything was in there. It was easy to put together, not much assembly required. I just cut down my post to accomodate this mailbox and slipped it over the post and screwed it in, making sure all was level. Didn't take long at all to put up and it looks great.

Great value

This Lego set captivates children and adults alike. Lego has paid a lot of attention to detail in making this toy, the rovers' wheels have a suspension mechanism, the robotic arm moves in 5 directions just like the real rover's arms and so does the high gain antenna mounted on the rover.

When I write this review, the rover is currently on the red planet performing all sorts of experiments. Buy it now before it becomes more expensive.

Very Over Priced

My son wanted this for a school product. I paid around $140.00 for this set. When I received the box I could tell right away this was not the regular size of a normal $140 lego set. And it actually had a $25 sticker on it. It must be some kind of "vintage" or discontinued set, but that was definitely not disclosed when it came up on Amazon. Had I known I was paying $140.00 for a $25 set I would have gone with a different rover model for his project. My son loves it, and it is cool, and we are going to add other elements to make the project more interesting, but I do feel a little ripped off that I paid a big premium price for a discontinued or vintage set without knowing that. Otherwise, it was great, shipped quickly, and it was a new set with all the pieces. Just know you'll be paying about 6 times the original retail price.

I love the product. It will be great for my science unit and character traits study. I am concerned that I may have gotten ripped off price-wise however. There was a sticker on the box marked $28.99. Very cool

On christmas I opened this present and was happily suprised. As you know, it's a pretty rare piece and I didnt think my mom could find it. Overall it is my favorite Legolas figure. He looks pretty much like Legolas but isn't perfect. The best part about him is his cloth cloak and skirt. His cloak and the top layer of his skirt is made of a nice green fabric. Feels pretty durable, nice color, and is soft. The under layer of his skirt is a stretchy fabric which works great. The other part of his body is very detailed. Elven engravings on his chest and arms. Pretty much a standard Legolas outfit. This quiver,bow, and arrows are the same as the two towers version. The daggers are the same sculpt with a darker oranger color handle. His hair is flying back which looks AWESOME when on the horse and good when off the horse too. The horse is the same as any of the other horses. Basic body sculpt, but cuter than most of them. He has a cool facemask on his head. I love how the bottoms of his legs are a darker color. Overall a great set. I reccomend this for any fan. Even if you already have a Legolas figure, I have 2, and I still love this!!Thanks for reading my review

Legolas and Horse-Toy Biz Deluxe Rider set

Horse and rider are great if you want to just display them in the box or with Legolas standing beside the horse. The Legolas figure included isn't made to sit on the horse. There is another Legolas action figure which is very bendable and sits well in the saddle. If purchasing this for kids, I recommend buying the latest Legolas action figure to compliment the horse.

Strong, silent type

At considerable savings, I bought a used one from Amazon marketplace but what I received was indistinguishable from a new unit. I've also used a Tripp Lite IS500 (not hospital grade) and the main difference I noticed, aside from color and current capacity, is that this one is dead quiet. Under load, the IS500 does make an audible hum, but this one does not.
