Product Description

Redesigned as the Wellness machine, it is the only pasta machine produced completely with materials which do not release any harmful metallic residue for total wellness. The body of this Atlas manual pasta machine is comprised of nickel-plated and chrome-plated steel for long-term resistance to corrosion. It features flat rollers for making dough sheets, and four easily removable cutting plates that make seven different kinds of pasta: Lasagna, reginette, spaghetti, raviolini (little ravioli), fettuccine, tagliolini, and pappardelle. The opening between the flat rollers is also controlled by a numbered regulating knob with 9 positions for a variety in pasta thickness.The handle and clamp for the machine have plastic handles for easy gripping and cleaning.Included with the set is a rolling wheel cutter and spoon for the raviolini attachment.

A Dream Machine

I have been talking about getting a pasta machine for a long time. I was tired of making noodles by hand. I never knew if they would turn out the same way twice in a row.After all the research I had been doing, finally one night I just ordered this one! I love it! It is easy..makes less mess and in way less time! And I don't have to use near as much room! I am just waiting till I make the little raviolis'It does clean up fast. I just brush it down with a pasta baster that I keep with it. Wipe excess dust with a cloth and it looks like new!I am disabled and it is easy to operate the handle.

What an awesome pasta machine

The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of instructions on how to use the additional pasta rollers.If you go to their website, you will find the instructions, but it should be included with the machine.Aside from that, I love it. It is easy to use, and you can use it for more than just pasta. It can be used for bread dough, cookie dough, clay, etc

I haven't used this product yet but am looking forward to trying it out. My brother-in-law just bought one and loves it. I considered getting the pasta attachments for my stand mixer but they were just so expensive.

Expensive but worth it.

I bought my first Alfi carafe 15 years ago after a trip to Europe. All of the hootels we stayed in used them to pour coffee. I liked the way it looked and the waiters assured me it would keep hot liquids hot all day. Well, it does provided that you prefill it with hot water (and then obviosuly dump the water before filling with your beverage). The thing will keep stuff steaming for 7 or 8 hours. If you can afford the freight - it is well worth it.

A Worldwide Classic for Carafes

I saw this model of Alfi carafe all over Germany when I was over there in the Army, 1984-87--in upscale hotels, resturants, and well-furnished homes--this Alfi Juwel 1-liter model. Got one myself and paid $75.00 U.S. then. It functioned perfectly for many years, but it got left behind in a divorce. Had to have another one--it works flawlessly too. It costs more than others, but it's worth it--(I've tried some.) NOTES ON ALL CARAFES: (1) The purpose of a carafe is to retain coffee FLAVOR as well as temperature. Without the airtight seal provided by a carafe, the oils and chemicals of FRESH coffee are steamed/evaporated away into open air quite rapidly if heated on just a warmer/hotplate. A good carafe will preserve FULL flavor. (2) For any carafe to function, it must be preheated with hot water for 2-5 minutes, and then the hot water dumped, just before the coffee/other hot beverage is put into the carafe. If properly preheated and filled with an early-morning pot of coffee, this Alfi carafe will provide really full-flavored coffee that is still quite hot well into late afternoon. It functions wonderfully, and it's pretty too.

Great Walkman for Activities

I was very pleasantly surprised with the performance of this walkman for what I needed - something primarily for jogging and especially for those tread-mill kinda days. This being the first electronics I've bought basically sight-unseen, I am very pleased with what I got! I VERY VERY much like the earphones. They are the best at least as far as superior comfort goes! I wouldn't even think about them around my ears if a tape wasn't playing. They stay perfectly in place while jogging (extremely lightweight and minimal); do not at all create that pressure ache on my ears or head as other earphones have, it's not a Bose but the sound is just fine for my purposes. Overall construction is very durable and very easy to use, have yet to use it in the rain, but certainly would seem to be able to handle it. I'm glad I opted for the weather/tv/radio features. Has come in very handy. Reception has been clear. The sound stays true when using tapes (no 'wobblies' during jarring movements) which I wanted and got, the weight of the walkman is light enough.....the only and biggest drawback is the handstrap/belt clip. Hum...Really bad design and the only reason I give it 4 stars. The belt clip is attached to the handstrap which is a web strap (with a flat little pad attached for covering the knuckles after tightening the strap), that circles thru two built-in bar shaped end pieces on opposite ends of the back of the walkman - but not held secure. If you want to wear it on a belt....it slides and flops around. There is no stability as there would be if the clip could have been screwed directly to the walkman body. Seems that would have been a no-brainer, but someone in the design department obviously overlooked that one....maybe my hand just isn't big enough (glove size 7) but holding it with the handstrap is rather uncomfortable. My arms are small enough I use the handstrap on my upper arm and it works just fine. Looks alittle unruly, but functional and stays put. I also strap the walkman to the treadmill on weathered-out days, and that works quite fine too. So the strap has come in handy. All-in-all I'm really glad I got this walkman. The pluses do outweigh the minuses and this walkman will be put to alot of good use!

Great product from Sony!

Ah! This is a remarkeble piece of equipment. Very stylish if I do say so myself.I am currently listening to one of Lord of the Rings tapes I have made, and it sounds beautiful. I am sure pre-recorded tapes will sound even better.The radio works very well. Preset stations is easy to use and very convenient.TV reception is alirght, though I will not be using it much, and Weather band sucks. Again, I will not be using it.I recommend this item for its quality. Some people say the other models aren't as good as the older one's, this one is probably better than the others.

No longer available new in box. Machines are now overstocks or refurbs. Model performs respectibly but is no where close in sound quality to a AC powerewd unit.

great cut

Of all the blades i owned this blade makes clean cuts,straight and little saw dust,i would definetly recomend this blade if u want a blade thats not going to hold a lot of friction and cause your 18v battery to drain fast,this blade has very little friction against the wood even when the wood is moist!and for the price,u just cant go wrong,,

mis-stamped

I bought two of them and both burned my wood. Here the blades are stamped on the wrong side. I flipped it over and they work like Diablos' should work. I'm a contractor and I have or used at least 30+ blades in my life and never had that happen. I asked a friend who has been a contractor for 25 years and has never had that problem either. My circular saw is right-handed saw too. Anyways, when correctly mounted, it cuts like butter.

Great little blade

These blades were purchased to be used on the circular saws that I use with my EurekaZone woodworking system. They are great. They have a very thin kerf and cut quickly. I have discovered that for re-sawing oak, they work well on the table saw too. I recently needed some 5/16" oak strips to use as stop on windows I was replacing. I was able to rip the 3/4" stock to the 1-1/2" width I needed, then re-saw them, having enough thickness that they could then be planed to the required thickness. I therefore got two rather than one piece from the stock and didn't have to fool with tricky re-sawing on the band saw.
