5Worth a good week of play time
By susan lord
If you are a grandmother buying this for the grandson go ahead because you'll have a ton of fun watching him play with it. It was vigorously thrown and survived, but putting the blade in a crack and bending it backwards did it in. Grandpa took it apart (lots of interesting stuff inside) and fixed it ingeniously. It worked a week or so but then succumbed to the same foe. It was an absolute favorite while it lasted though, and I don't regret spending money on it because he absolutely loved it and played constantly with it. He's a 2 1/2 yr old. Besides, where else can you get a jack hammer for a toddler? Sometimes you have to have one and this is about it.

4good over all, but quality control needs improving!
By SlowcarFast
just received the box today. i love the blocks overall, especially that they have both the upper and the lower case of letters. The quality of the blocks are good except that 3 or 4 of the blocks have splinter on the edges. They are not too sharp, just not smoothed out on a couple of corners. I was able to smooth most of them out by scrubbing with a dish sponge.Overall i'm happy with them and will recommend these blocks to others.

4Great Product but...
By 2010NewMom
These blocks are great over-all. The reason why I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I received it, the a part images on theblocks peeled off. I noticed this immediately after opening the box. Other than that, the blocks are great and my baby loves them.

5Great blocks
By Veronica
I've purchased these blocks for Christmas for my 2 years old son. They are sooooo cute !! Each block is 1.8" x 1.8", so the perfect size. They are painted with cute colorful pictures and have upper and lower case alphabet. My son has fun with them. They seem to be very durable and well made although I am a little bit curious if the paint is going to last after more playing.... So far very happy with the purchase.

1I would advise against!!!
By cameron klein
Where do I start! I bought this T.V. in december of 2003 for a family christmas present and it lasted 2 weeks before I lost the picture. I called the store and they replaced the t.v. which I thought was very nice but the screen had numerous scratches right out of the box. The manager saw them and said he would fax the order to get it fixed. A month later, a repairperson came to my house but he had the part to fix the picture and not the scratches. He had no knowledge of the scratches but he would place the order to get it fixed. April rolled around and I lost the picture again on the new tv. I was a little discouraged considering this was not some 100.00 t.v. from Walmart, I paid a lot money for a television that was just not lasting, this was two t.v.'s in four months. I called Phillip's, thankfully I still had a warranty, but I found out they had closed there repair centers. They had a local repair shop come get the t.v. and I asked the Phillips rep. if they got the new screen yet. Now comes the battle!!! Phillips said they would repair the t.v. but not the screen because they said they never recieved the order. The screens were only on warranty for 30 days and it was 3 months later. I explained to the phillips repair rep. that the store I bought it from faxed the order the same day. She told me that they closed their centers, here in florida, around that time so they do not have that information. Somehow this is my fault and I was told to call there customer service line. I called the number and I was told it was not their problem. I asked to speak to a supervisor, they refused to do it, then I asked for the number to Phillips headquarters which I found out does not exist but I could write a letter to them(still have not heard back from them) keep in mind this is the CUSTOMER SERVICE line. The customer service is based out of the carribean somewhere, I paid a couple thousand dollars for a t.v., had 2 different t.v.'s that could not last 5 months and Phillip's refused to help me. The end result was I got the t.v. back a month and a half later, turns out it was a manufactures defect, the screen was fixed by the store that I bought the t.v. from because they could not get to Phillips either. It was the most frustrating time I have ever had and now I am going to purchase the extended warranty as I do not trust this t.v. It is a great t.v. when it works, but I also have a Toshiba big screen that is not HDTV and in four years time I have never had a problem. So in closing I should caution"BUYER BEWARE"

5Great Big Screen For The Money
By J. S Thomas
I recently purchased the television and have been very pleased by its performance. A direct cable connection works fine but the picture suffers. A progressive scan DVD works good and brings in a nice and sharp 480i picture. However, this philips shines when connected to an High Def. box. The picture is so real i feel like im looking out my window at action in the yard. My small son 3 years old went over to the tv trying to touch the Moose on the screen as it looked real. Its a great tv and the best per inch buy out there right now. I also own a sony 50" lcd HDTV and belive it or not the philips working from an HD box or Progressive scan dvd player beats the sony with a similar hook up. Wish i had found this first and saved the 3,400$ for the sony LCD, ive been watching this while the sony sits turned off in the corner.....

5Great vest for photographers
By Alida Thorpe
My husband and I both have this vest. It has lots of pockets for camera gear which are within easy reach. Pockets all have zippers or velcro to help keep items secure. I like the length and light-weight feel. The difficult part is remembering where you put things, but that's not the fault of the vest design. Pockets are various sizes and some large enough for lenses, which is necessary for the photographer.

5A good buy for my needs
By L. Johnson
I bought the Tamrac to replace a Promaster vest I bought at a local camera shop. I used the Promaster traveling in China for 6 weeks, and search for something better on returning back home. One big problem is that the Promaster has a small poorly secured inside upper left chest pocket; which makes it useless. The Tamrac has more pockets, a more secure inside pocket, more Velcro on the outside pockets. It's lighter, and has a more comfortable fit.

APC AP7900 Rack PDU/Switched/1U/15A/100/120V Surge Protector Product Description:

  • 1U switched rackmount power distribution unit
  • 8 NEMA 5-15R outlets
  • 120V nominal output voltage, 120V nominal input voltage
  • 1440VA load capacity
  • 12-foot cord

Product Description

APC's Switched Rack Power Distribution Units (PDUs) are premium solutions to many of the power management problems seen in today's IT environments. Some of the problems are unauthorized use of power outlets, locked-up equipment, in-rush current, overloaded circuits, and the need of remote access to power outlets in the rack. The Switched Rack PDUs address these problems through individual outlet control, power on and off delays, current monitoring, alarm thresholds, and network management. Individual outlet control allows users to turn outlets on, turn outlets off, or recycle power to equipment, which can reboot locked-up equipment and avoid unauthorized use of outlets.

3Network configuration/serial access is sub-par but power control is great!
By ManiS
When I think of adding a PDU, the first thing that comes to my mind is an APC product; I have been using APC for a long time and will continue to do so. But this product gave me some headaches!Pros:1. Excellent configuration options and control options once you get to the web interface2. Easy, intuitive, pwerful web interface3. Price for the features and power controlCons:1. I can't believe APC uses a RJ11/12 jack for the serial port that requires a special cable. When the rest of the IT equipment uses 9 bin (DB9) serial ports for access, APC is still using an antiquated serial port connectivity. I went to Fry's and tried to find a cable for this and I couldn't find anything, even if I am ready to pay a premium. Looks like I have to order either from APC directly or from some other online source to get this. This is clearly not good...(All rack servers have a DB9 serial port; they don't have a RJ11 jack for serial port, then why this product that goes into a rack should have a special cable/connector?)2. APC's DH Client seems to be so busted that it requires quite some good knowledge to make it work. I managed to give a temporary IP address to it, following the instructions in the manual (113 bytes of ping after setting a static route/arp entry to it). But then once I switched it to use DHCP, it never gets connected to DHCP server. I spent a couple of days figuring this out and this is what I found:- When you set the initial IP address to APC to access its web page for the first time, it remembers the IP address of your system that you used to give its IP address as its gateway.- Then when you switch APC to use DHCP, it still thinks its gateway is your system and tries to get its DHCP address from your system instead of going out to the DHCP server in the network.- The workaround I finally did is this: I connected my system as well as APC to the same hub and got my system's IP address and its gateway. Then I disconnected the hub from its outside network (removing the path to the DHCP server and real gateway). I reconfigured my system to a static IP address with the IP address as the normal gateway for my system when I am using DHCP server. After this, I used this system to give a temp. IP address to APC.- Finally I reconfigured my system and also APC to use DHCP, put the hub back into the DHCP network, and then restarted APC. As APC has been fooled into taking the DHCP gateway as its gateway this time, it worked correctly and got its IP address from the server. This is a serious bug in APC's management software.Just these 2 negatives forces me to give a 3 star to this product.(And of course, the APC customer support didn't help me solve this issue; I had to make up my own workaround)
