The Model 153, World Correspondent's Vest, is both a functional tool and a good looking addition to any photographer's wardrobe. Constructed of 100% cotton with nylon mesh vents, it has excellent yet discreet ventilation, lots of convenient pockets and is appropriate for almost any social situation or photographic assignment.Ten pockets are featured on the front of the vest outfitting the photographer for any situation. During hot weather, two zipper vented mesh pockets open to provide cooling ventilation.Four Velcro® closing patch pockets provide fast access and are large enough for nearly any accessory. Two zippered side pockets give the photographer secure space for film and accessories. Two hand warmer pockets can also be used to hold keys, coins, etc.Three more pockets can be found on the inside of the vest. Two large pockets close with Velcro®, while one closes with a zipper to secure valuables.

A good buy for my needs

I bought the Tamrac to replace a Promaster vest I bought at a local camera shop. I used the Promaster traveling in China for 6 weeks, and search for something better on returning back home.One big problem is that the Promaster has a small poorly secured inside upper left chest pocket; which makes it useless.The Tamrac has more pockets, a more secure inside pocket, more Velcro on the outside pockets. It's lighter, and has a more comfortable fit.

well designed for the outdoor photographer, ease of access to filter pockets and lens pouches, just the right amount of pockets interior and exterior but not too bulky even for summer use.love this vest.
