Nice tool

Main complaint was the delay on the delivery, it was hard to track the delivery because there was a lack of communication between vendor and manufacturer.The machine is great, the base guide is difficult to set to get the true 90 degree cut. Once that was set the machine functioned superbly.

Great for paver cuts! After going through the blade included with a new Wacker Saw I tried this blade. I'm cutting 3 1/8"x 14"x14" pavers. Cuts awesome. Don't wast your time with cheap blades.

Best Tile Saw around especially for the money

I am sorry to hear of the warped table problem the other reviewer had. Although I don't know how it could be possible because this is a cast aluminum table and then ground to a finish level. So if it were warped it would probably be destroyed too. Anyway, this saw it quite simply fantastic. I was cutting dense fossil ridden limestone today and was blowing right through 16"x1/2" thick tiles like butter and my starret square said they were perfect!. Wonderful American Made Baldor motor, legendary MK 101 base & body, smooth as glass & flat as glass table top, (despite this other poor fella's claims) beautiful cuts up to 24"!!! What other saw for this price can do that at this price & have a legendary reputation to stand on. Don't let him fool you this saw is a winner!!

Looks pretty...but

I bought this saw about a year and a half ago thinking it would save on rental fees. The table is warped which makes it impossible to get two pieces from one. The weight of the "waste side causes it to drop and snap the tile. Leaving a rather large piece of scrap. Mk said no problem and a new table arrives only to be warped. In order to finish this job I'm back at the rental center. "Made In The U.S.A." Where is the quality control??? Idon't know if Mk is aware of the fact that this make both me and the MK Company look pretty bad in the eyes of my customers. But I do have to admit that the red color of the tool is pretty. I'll find someone to unload this on and will be looking at the imports very quickly. I'm losing time, money and not to mention wasting material.

Extreme Grinder

For you people desperate for a halfway useful review unlike the other 3 reviews on here, I will attempt.This grinder is a beast. After a descent amount of research, I found this to be the most powerful grinder DeWalt offers. You will not bog this grinder down. This thing has an unimaginable amount of power. Currently I'm using it with a 7" grinding disc and I'm able to remove massive amounts of metal fast and with ease. My 10AMP 4.5" grinder is super powerful, but wears me out when I need to remove alot of material. This 15AMP 7/9" beast makes my job a whole lot easier.The tool features an adjustable trigger grip too. It rotates when you use the grinder at different angles. It uses a very reliable type of latch mechanism to lock the grip in what ever position you rotate it to.This grinder is worth eavery penny to me. I'm an extremely proud owner. I love tools that work hard and don't slow me down but rather speed me up. Guys you wont regret this one.

A great machine

I used an old Skil saw to cut brick and block, but after finally melting the internals beyond repair I was forced to look for an alternative.

I chose this machine based on the flexability of the 7" and 9" guards that come standard.

The machine has plenty of power cutting red bricks with far more ease than a Makita chop saw.

I love the ability to rotate the main/rear grip - it makes this grinder far more versatile and comfortable than other I have used in the past.

The only downside to this grinder is the optional 7" cutting wheel guard is pricey.

Best 180 dollars i've ever spent. All pipe-fitters should own one. The rotating handle makes for easy bevelling, and it is a breakthrough in job-site tool ergonomics.

BEST TOY EVER

We have enjoyed countless hours of imaginative play over the 3+ years we have owned this toy. Even at almost 8 years old my son still occasionally plays with this pirate ship (so does his 10 year old sister). This is on my (short) list of toys I will NEVER get rid of because of how awesome it is.After 3 years of use by 2 children, and my niece it still looks as beautiful as the day it arrived to our home. Any toy that can make it through 3 kids without breaking is worth investing in :)This is my FAVORITE toy of all time because it doesn't need batteries & has allowed my children to use their imagination when playing.

Very sturdy pirate ship. My daughter loves to play Peter Pan with this ship and adds other dolls (Polly) to the ship to play with Wendy. The ship is easy to clean and store. Great value for the money.

Great toy for imaginative play

We ordered this toy for our two toddlers for Christmas. I am always impressed with plan toys, and our three year old is really into pirates right now so it seemed like a great option.This toy is excellent! The packagin was so simple, and although there is some simple organization to getting the toy put together, there is not a massive amount of assembly or building required. The details are terrific, and the colors are fantastic.This toy allows for a ton of imaginative play. the row boat and alligator add a ton to the overall enjoyment. The fact that the pieces are movable and can be rearranged is super fun for our boys.As a parent the only frustration that I have is that there a so many pieces that are hard to keep together, but as long as the kids are playing and learning, I can not really complain.

Very Pleased!

My husband and I purchased this dollhouse for my daughter's third birthday. It was a breeze to put together! It probably took me less than a half hour and I was impressed by the simplicity of the design.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the windows are more of a reddish-orange stain than a red. The orange better matches the Hape furniture that I picked out. But, if you are expecting red, be forewarned that it is closer to an orange color than red.I did order a set of Plan Toys dolls as friends for the Hape Happy Family set I purchased. I now realize that the Plan Toys furniture and dolls are bigger than the Hape sets, so I wouldn't recommend mixing and matching.I love it that the windows, doors, and walls can all be moved around! This makes all of the rooms super accessible and adds to the creativity potential of the dollhouse.I know that this dollhouse is going to provide hours of entertainment for my daughter for years to come! The wood is unfinished, so I plan to give it a coat of linseed oil every so often to protect it and keep it in good condition.

First off, Plan Toys is an environmentally responsible company that practices the reduce-reuse-recycle principle. Their toys are completely non-toxic and made to last. Well made of eco friendly rubber wood, this house can be passed down through your family for generations. Heirloom toys are a way to feel connected and also keep the waste down.It comes unassembled but is easy to put together. The terrace is a nice place to put a little garden or patio while the attic might make a fun playroom. Kids love to rearrange furniture (sold separately) which helps them build their decision making faculties. What I love about a toy like this is it propels the child into the world of imagination. There's no corporate undertone, the house, matching people and furniture are simple enough for children to elaborate on their own.Traditionally, we might think of a dollhouse as a toy for girls. However, boys love them too. My son incorporates his jeep and fire truck into the dollhouse scenario and it works really well. Also, this house is very gender neutral in both color and style. If your son has a dollhouse, when he has play dates with girls, they will be thrilled to see it and it makes a nice activity for two children to play with together. My son has little wooden animals that have become members of the household as well. Can't say enough good things about Plan Toys--great product!

A Good, Solid Dollhouse, if a little pricey

Santa gave this to my then-7-year-old daughter in 2007. It replaced a much smaller dollhouse, also by Plan. It's a great design: pretty easy to assemble and inviting to play with. My daughter and her friends have played with it fairly regularly over the past year. However, her favorite thing to do with it is rearrange the furniture.Be warned -- the house comes with no furniture. Expect to pay an additional [...] for each "room" of furniture, if you want to stick with the furniture made by Plan Toys. This basically doubles the cost of the house!
