A blessing and a curse

I own 2 APC RS1500 UPS's with BR24BP battery packs attached. The good news: The BR24BP extends the UPS run time exactly as it was designed to do. The bad news: When the BR24BP fails, the UPS hardware and PowerChute software do NOT detect the failure, and the failure of the BP24BP may drain a good battery in the RS1500 UPS rendering the UPS useless in the event of a power outage or event. Even though the BP24BP has failed, the UPS passes the "Self-Test" with the only indication of a problem being a decreasing Battery Capacity and Battery Time in the PowerChute software even though there is not a power outage or event underway.

Great Backup Power Option

I purchased this along with the BR1500 last year and so far I have been extremely pleased. When the power goes out, I can get around 1.5 hours of additional runtime from my equipment. This handles quite a bit of equipment. It does take awhile to fully charge after a complete drain and that is expected considering the size of the batteries.It may seem expensive on paper, but nothing is that expensive considering you are plugging thousands of dollars worth of equipment into it and if you are in the IT industry, uptime is obviously very important. I highly recommend this product as a wonderful compliment to the BR1500.

This is an excellent compliment to the BX1500 or BR1500 UPS. With this battery attached I get several more hours of runtime depending on the load. Definitely worth it for extended use during power outages.

One of the best purchases I've made

I purchased this co-sleeper after having my baby in bed with us for two months. Its great for parents who want their babies in their room with them, but rather not have them actually in the bed. I can lay right next to my baby, safely and comfortably and be able to easily reach in to rub or pat his back when he stirs during the night and needs some comforting. I prefer it over a pack n' play because you can secure it to the bed, the one side goes down so its easier to reach in, and its much smaller than a standard size pack n' play. I tried having the bassinet up against the bed in the same manner and it wasn't working out for me so I purchased this co-sleeper. Our bedroom is on the small side and if I had to use something the size of a pack n' play it would have never worked.

Sorry to see some people arguing over the reviews for this product. I think that its the same with anything, different people have different opinions. Whether or not you enjoy this product will be based on the what you expect from the product and your individual needs. I personally don't need to get out of bed to feed my baby with this co-sleeper as some of the other mothers have indicated, but I could see why some other parents would need to. I didn't purchase the product because I thought it would help me from having to get out of bed. I purchased it because I want my baby next to me at night without having him in my bed, and I want to be able to easily reach in and help sooth him if he needs some comforting during the night. Therefore, depending on your needs you may love this product or you may be disappointed.

Used every day for 6 months - Love it

This is a great buy for us. You can reach in and get your baby to feed/cuddle and not worry about rolling over him in your sleep. It is securely fastened to your bed via a belt that goes between your mattress and base. It has two wheels that lock - we wheel it to our living room in the morning and back to the bedroom at night. It's easy to roll up and roll down the side facing the bed. It's also easy to fold if you follow the instructions to the T - the order in which you need to straighten/fold the top and bottom bars is very important. We have used this every day since our baby came home to when he turned 5 and half months old and we transitioned him to the big crib in his nursery. We still use the co-sleeper in the living room to put him down for his nap and will continue to do so till he no longer fits or starts to sit up. (He's 6 months old and 27 inches long now - to give you an idea of how long you can use this crib). You can purchase the special sized crib sheet from most online retailers for about seven dollars. I have two. We stow away all his toys in the storage area underneath and it keeps our house tidy. We even managed to fit a crib mobile on the co-sleeper. It's a very good value for the money compared to other fancy bassinets and rocking beds. We also considered the Original Co-sleeper but I'm glad we got this one because it makes it easy to get in/out of bed around the sleeper, much needed if you have a c-section. If you're looking for something good-looking - this is not for you. If you're looking for something useful and practical - this is for you.

Better sleep for baby & YOU

We had already debated the co-sleeper versus play yard decision & chose a play yard, reasoning that we would use it longer & that it wouldn't be that big a deal to hop out of bed a few steps to grab the baby. Then I had a c-section & my husband ran out to get the co-sleeper after all. We got the mini because I just didn't want to have to crawl all the way to the foot of my bed to get up like I would have to with the full size.I was just sure this would make night time breastfeeding much easier. (You know: grab the baby, latch her on & lay back & get a few more winks while she nurses.) If you haven't yet had your baby & you share this fantasy: get over it. You won't be laying down to nurse with a brand new baby. And if your baby is like mine (90% on the growth charts) she likely may have out-grown the mini by the time she can nurse successfully laying down.But I still give this 5 stars because it made life so much easier. We chose to have our baby sleep in our room until 3 months. All those crazy sounds that you're not used to coming over a baby monitor from another room, mean you really won't get any sleep because you'll be trudging up & down the hall all night long, and not just for feedings. Likewise, a crib or play yard (even in the same room) has the problem that you'll be getting up dozens of times a night to check on her. But with the co-sleeper, I just had to turn my head & see that she was fine. It's a lot easier to get back to sleep if you haven't had to get out of bed.We weren't prepared to commit long-term to co-sleeping or "the family bed." I always knew we would move her to her own room at some point. (It turned out to be 3 months, instead of the 2 I'd originally planned.) As a new, first time parent, I know I got a lot more sleep than I would have with any other set up. (And sleep is soooo precious in those first weeks!) By the time we were ready to move her to her own room, the mini was getting pretty tight, but it was just the right size for our needs & for the period of time we needed it. We didn't need the ability to use it as a play yard later, like the full size can, because we already own a Graco play yard. But, honestly, we've never even used it.If you are planning to have your baby sleep in your room for 2 to 6 months, the mini co-sleeper will be perfect.

"Nice Set From Memory Lane And Playing Mantis"!

This is the Peanuts "A Charlie Brown Christmas Action Figure Box Set Assortment" (This is the singing version of the set) from the 2002-2003 Memory Lane and Playing Mantis Peanuts Toy Series. The set includes the figures of: Lucy van Pelt ("Worlds Biggest "Fussbudget") PigPen ("The Dirtiest Boy Alive") and Schroeder "Lover of Beethoven" ("The Musical Genius"). First of all I will review the figures, Lucy "Lucille" van Pelt is dressed in her traditional winter clothing outfit from the 1965 television special "A Charlie Brown Christmas" created by Charles Schulz and directed by Bill Melendez, she includes a red cap (that is detachable) and a her "Pychiastrist Can Of Money" which is detachable as well, she also includes her famous Psychiatric Booth topped with snow creating a nice wintry scenery for the booth. Then next we have PigPen topped in his usual dirty brown clothes with his dusty face and his brown spiky hair (which I really haven't seen in other sets or any from 2012) overall on PigPen he has no detachable items but the snow display base (Lucy also has the display base along with Schroeder as well) he includes a his famous "dirty snowmen" covered in brown dirt in the winter! overall PigPen really shows the detail of his character from the comic series and television specials. Next we have Schroeder with his usual blue sweater and black pants and his brown shoes (really like that these characters have their traditional looks) with his snow display base as well, he also inlcludes his blue piano which was the only play feature of the set, (which I really enjoyed) it makes the traditional sound of a piano which can be seen on box where it says "Try Me". Oh and also Lucy comes with a red stool with the booth. Overall I rate the toy 5 stars. The price on this set 2012 (December) is very pricey considering it's from 2002 and can be as a top collectible for collectors. If the price gets too high try Ebay. I hoped this helped. And the figures are 4"-5".

Great Player ... but

I just bought this player after looking at many on the internet and all I could find at retailers in the area. Unlike many of the reviews of other players, I find the sound to be excellent. I started off listening with headphones, but found the speakers to be sufficient on a quiet evening. The screen size, at 10" is incredible and can be viewed from an angle. 2 headphone jacks will allow both my kids to watch it at once ... assuming they get it away from me!

Now, with all that, why didn't I give it 5 stars? It does not come with a DC adapter for the car or plane, and so far I have not been able to find one for this model. The DC voltage is an odd 8.4 volts, so the standard do-it-all adapters do not work. This seems to be a major missing component for a "portable" DVD player.

awesome, but quite big

How can anyone say 'no' to this dvd player when it is handed to you as a gift. I didn't. I previously had the panasonic dvd-la95, which I've used for quite some time and loved. But I got this as a gift and sold my panasonic away. Why? Well for one thing, the quality is better (not a lot, but you can tell the difference). It did fix problems everyone complained about from the samsung L100, namely the screen fix from widescreen to standard, and it does remember where you stopped. just make sure you READ THE MANUAL and fix the options to your preference. Also, it hasn't rejected a dvd i fed it yet. I mostly rent my dvd's and some are unplayably scratched, but this unit still plays it (with a few skips of course, but that's the disc).

Minus one star for its size. I know most people will be attracted by the 10 inch screen, but it's actually the problem (at least for me). Before you buy this, you have to see the unit for yourself, how big it actually is. It's a size of a laptop. And at around $800 for a brand new one, you might as well get a laptop.

But if you're one of those who think 'the bigger the better' and feel you have to have one of the best portable dvd players around, this is the player for you. The quality is one of the best i've seen. You'll have to see past the price though, otherwise you're better off getting a laptop with a dvd player (unless you want to mount this bad boy in your car).

Best portable player out

I owned the previous model (L100) and decided to upgrade to the L200 for the new features it offered, mainly the ability to resize the LCD screen for 4:3 and non-anamorphic discs. Contrary to what a previous poster noted, the L200 does have the screen resize feature (E-Z View) as well as a replay/resume function that will continue playing the disc at the point you stopped it. More buttons have been added to the unit itself which allows full functionality without need for the remote (which was a problem with the L100). The player itself basically looks the same and the 10" picture is as glorious and film-like as it's predecessor. Sound through the built-in speakers has been pumped up, and is as good as can be expected form a portable player. Battery life still clocks in at around 2.5 hours, but it's decent considering the size of the screen. Supposedly Samsung is working on an extended life 6 hour battery, but I haven't seen it yet. No matter I just bought a spare in the meantime!

Love My Boots!

I am looking at purchasing my third pair of these boots, I typically get two seasons because I drag my toes. I currently play in a dry climate with harder surfaces. I don't even bother looking at other brands because these conform so nicely to my feet, are very light and give me a great touch on the ball. I first purchased because I'm old school when soccer players wore black and these fit the bill, but to my surprise they were not only solid black but an absolutely comfortable fit. **I Love My Boots**

Fit is GREAT Leather is Hard

I love Puma boots and have been wearing them for years. I usually buy kangaroo skin, but those only last me for a season or two (I play 3 times a week). So I thought I would try good old fashion leather. The fit is still GREAT, no blisters at all. But the leather is a bit hard and I can feel it with my touch. I am sure it will get better over time and perhaps the hard leather will help these boots last more than 6-9 months for me!
