Product arrived with damaged part

This machine arrived with the top damaged. It appeared that it had been returned by someone and shipped back out to me. I called the manufacturer and explained the situation, stating that if they would send the damaged part I would not have to return the product. They said I should receive the part in approximately one week. It has now been 4 weeks, my return time from Amazon has expired, I have received nothing from the manufacturer, and I'm stuck with a machine stand that I can't use. I would not recommend this product or Safco, the manufacturer.

Typewriter stand

This is a very nice table for the price. You can't go wrong. It holds my IBM Selectric II perfectly and the two pull-ups hold my typing elements.

Easy to assemble until the end.

Everything was going great until th elast pieces needed to go together. Then I need to use a hammer to "re-engineer" things. Once it was together it fills the purpose nicely.
