worked well good quality used it to make a lot of holes still like new it saved me a lot of backbreaking work

Needs hardened cutting edges

this auger is as advertised and worked well. It does have replaceable cutting edges, but mine wore quite fast. I used this auger for about four hours and the outer cutting edge really should be replaced. The point is noticable worn as well but should be fine for another round of hole drilling. I'm drilling in decomposed granite which is very hard so I give some credit for that, but would be better with hardened edges. Overall happy with this auger, but could be better.
