Easy to use, fits all

This is a "low to mid range" e-collar from Dogtra. Wich gives you a great range to work with. The design is clean and simple and very unsuspicous. The collar itself is made of some strong plastic with a metal buckle and leash loop black. Attached in front of it is a small receiver.All in all it looks rather small and harmless. But once the collar is strapped onto the neck there is a sensation of two small electrodes pressing against the skin of the throat. With the collar secured fixed there is no escape from the electric shocks delivered through the electrodes. The shocks could either be momentary "nick" which delivers a pulse for just a fraction of a second, or "continuous" which gives maximum 12 seconds continuous stimulation.The collar fits any neck size and is easily adjustable. But nevertheless the collar should always have a tight fit, the electrodes can chafe against the skin or cause burn mark if the electrodes does not have enough contact with the skin.The electric signal is continuously adjustable through the variostat on the transmitter and goes from a small tingle of 2-3 volts power to a real shock of thousands of volts. The level could even be adjusted in real time. This is a very unique feature with this collar which gives you the ability to find just the correct individual strength of the shocks. Even if it is generally not recommended I even tried it on myself: with the collar firmly fasten around my neck I was able to go as high as level 30 out of maximum 100 before it was to painful.The collar also contains a small vibrating "pager", though it seems hard to discriminate. It comes with a charger that charges both the collar and transmitter simultaneously.The collar is very easy to use with just three buttons and the dial for the intensity. I really recommend it.
