Great Product --easy to install-- steers nicely

This is a great replacement steering system. I installed on my 1985 Sunbird 195 bow rider boat. The steering cable was frozen due to rust and the helm had a crack in it. I was able to install the replacement cable and helm in about 2 hours. It would be even faster if you did not need to install a new helm. The boat steers very well now with no hesitation--very smoothly. I would definitely recommend for anyone with a locked up or malfunctioning steering cable or broken helm.

great product but would not fit my boat because my steering system was to close to the gun wall so I called the store and they helped me fix my problem with a different style system .

Installed on my 1995 Stratos 268 with a Johnson 115. Works great, steering is as smooth as butter now. Took less than an hour to install. The toughest part was fishing the sttering cable through the boat.
