Ideal for cruisers, runabouts, center console boats, offshore fishing boats and many more. Suitable for speeds up to 60 MPH and dual station use (with purchase of extra helm, hose & fittings). Allows independent engine tilt in dual engine installations. Dual engines require purchase of a tie bar kit and extra hardware. Kit Contains: SeaStar 1.7 Front Mount Helm (HH5271), Pivot Mount Outboard Cylinder (Black) (HC5345/58), and (2) 1 Quart of SeaStar Oil (HA5430). Hose NOT included.

Long overdue

I should have upgraded from cable to hydraulic steering years ago. Now that I have, my boat feels brand new. No more torque steering under power; I can one hand steer all day long with minimal effort. Also, the price was very competitive as well I was able to buy this SeaStar kit for less than I would have paid locally for a lesser BayStar kit.To anyone on the fence about pulling the trigger on hydraulic steering for their boats. Just do it, you won't regret it.
