Sony Walkman accessory for car stereo hookup

I got this Sony Walkman accessory package at Amazon. I love my Sony MP3 player but wanted to be able to play all my music in the car (legally, without headphones). There were 2 major ways to do this: 1) buy a small FM transmitter that broadcasts from the MP3 to the radio 2)get an adapter that looks like a tape cartridge but actually routes the music from the MP3 directly to the stereo electronics. I chose #2 and bought the package manufactured by Sony.This is one of the better deals I have every made. The kit is inexpensive, straightforward to connect and reproduces the music wonderfully. I had heard that this type of kit produces an audible hum. Yes, it does, but at a level so low that you can only hear it with no music playing and the system cranked up almost full force. It has never been a problem--I've never heard it while in use and wouldn't even have looked for it except that a reviewer somewhere did mention it (also at a very low level).This is a 5 star accessory kit and extremely easy to purchase through Amazon.
