My 3 month old Min Pin puppy was diagnosed with Demodectic Genetic Mange. Her hair was thinning and brittle. The vet said she was really bad with it. The cause of this is a low immune system which allows mites to overrun the animal. After a lot of research I decided that the best treatment for a dog this small was a daily dose of Interceptor and doing everything possible to help boost her immune system. Many recommend a raw diet to boost the immune system, but it really is a lot of work and can be hard to switch. I decided to try the Wellness puppy formula instead of going over to the raw diet. This formula is filled with healthy ingredients, real meats, vegetables, fruits and no unhealthy filler. It is high in the Omega 3 and other great antitoxidants. She loves the taste and it keeps her regular.Today was her 1 month checkup to see how she was responding to the treatment. My doctor was very shocked to find her completely clear of the mites. He actually thought she would be one of those that would not respond to treatment. He thinks it was the combination of everything I was doing, including this food. Boosting her immune system from the inside & treating her with healthy medication instead of the normal poisons saved her life. She now has a very soft, healthy and shiny coat of hair. You would never know she had mange just a month ago!I am a Wellness customer for life!
