Berndes is the Best

I have been using Berndes cookware since the day I bought my first piece at a sale my local hardware store was having. They had one of the traditions 9 1/2 fry pan with lid for practically nothing. I took it home and was blown away by the quality and durability of this little pan. I then looked on the web and discovered they were of reasonably high value. I ordered a few more pieces from Amazon and eventually threw out all of my Calphalon and other cookware. I have my family and friends in the process of converting to Berndes also (one skillet as a Christmas gift is all it takes).You simply are not going to find better cookware in this price range.Don't waste money on Calphalon, W.Puck, Pampered Chef, or any other cookware in the High-end consumer range. Just buy Berndes and be happy.

We've been using this set for over a year now and it still holds up great to any challenging meal after all this time. Even with the wear of everyday use the set still maintains its integrity while evenly heating and cooking all varieties of food to perfection. We've never had an issue with food sticking to the surface while cooking or during clean up. The cast aluminum and non-stick coating has been a dream. I would recommend the Berndes line of cookware to anyone seriously interested in cooking quality meals.

The Berndes Tradition pots heat up absolutely evenly, making sautes, sauces, and rice a dream to cook. The pots are very heavy cast, with the result that the bottoms do not warp over time, as most pots do. The handles on the lids and pots do not transmit heat. The pots are non-stick, with a thick non-stick surface. My first Berndes pot was acquired three years ago. It has made perfect rice, spagetti sauce, bechamel sauce, and popped a lot of popcorn. Since I bought it used, it started as our popcorn pan and worked its way up in the world. The glass lid has bounced on our hard tile floor and survived where plates, cups, and bottles have met their end. After the first Berndes pot, I began to dream of buying a set. I've had this set for two months now, and each of the four pots in the set has already replaced an older pot of mine. Downsides? I wouldn't want to throw the glass lids on the floor every day. Then, too, non-stick surfaces require extra care-- I don't use metal utensils for cooking, or abrasives for cleaning, and I don't sear the steak over max heat in the frying pan.
