Product Description
Decide the fate of Middle Earth with Lord of the Rings, Battle at Helm's Deep. This play set features medieval looking gates and walls to build and rearrange, and includes 3 small figurines: a Uruk Hai Bomber and Aragorn and Legolas, both wearing Helm's Deep Armor. A pair of siege ladders and 3 Uruk-Hai mines round out the set, which is inspired by the popular Lord of the Rings movie trilogy. Imported.

My son loves it, but I have a few complaints!

I recently purchased this for son's 6th Birthday. He is a HUGE LOTR fan so I knew he'd love it, which he does.I however, think it was a little pricey upon opening and inspecting it. It comes in several pieces, consisting of several "cheap" flimsy pieces of plastic which were somewhat difficult to figure out how to put together. Then once together, everything kept unconnecting and falling apart which really frustrated my son! I fixed this by simply super gluing several of the connecting pieces together. I also super glued the removable shelves inside the castle that the figures stand upon. This seemed to make the unit much more durable. I recommend anyone doing this who has younger children who will be playing with this.The castle came with a unconnected "ramp" which leads up to the castle door... a rock that fits on the side of the castle... two ladders that connect to the top of the castle... two statues, one broken in half... and a few bombs which seem altogether useless to me.It also came with three figures: Aragorn, Legolas and one of the bad guys. The figures have wonderful detail, however the swords break easily, and the heads and arms come off somewhat easy as well. These do however pop back on equally as easy.All in all I feel this is an O.K. toy, however a little pricey. Also the box sais for ages 5 and up. Unless you have a mature 5 year old I would not recommend it until maybe 7 years at least. My son however, absolutely loves it!

Helms Deep Playset

This is honestly the best playset for 3" figures I have ever seen. This is a must have for AOME collecters all though it is not on sale anymore this is a great toy. I would buy another if they still sold them.
Fun for 5
I would give this item a five for the fun value. Because,This is awesome add a ballista a battering ram the Uruk Hai three pack 2 rohan 3 packs and the 10 pack of Helms Deep figures and you will have one good time.
Education for 5I would give this item a five for the eductation value. BecauseThis is terrifically acuritly detailed. Although there is no Deepling Wall (yet) this is a very good toy to learn about Lord of the rings from
Durability for 4Well there is some work involved and this is expensive! with all the figures its gonna run you a lot of cash. but its worth it.. It needs some good ole super glueing to make it even better but over all I give it a

I got this toy and was so excited.It comes with two walls,two towers,one gate,three bombs,two statues,two siege towers,a rock,a small causway (ramp),Aragorn,Legolas,and a beserker.There is just one problem,the causway and the rock do not connect to the Helm's Deep playset.I don't care.Helm's Deep is my favorite place in Lord of the Rings.This playset is perfect for a Lord of the Rings action figure showdown.I hope the Play Along Toys company make more Helm's Deep playsets.Get the Helm's Deep playset,you will not be sorry,it's so much fun!
