Product Description
An excellent bag for the working photographer, the 610 is equipped for carrying digital or film SLRs. It features our Lens-Bridge and LensGate Divider Systems which cradle the cameras with lenses attached while the gates swing open to protect equipment from contacting each other. A New Slide Pocket has the Memory & Battery Management System (patent pending) for quick access to memory cards, batteries and accessories. Red flags identify used memory and batteries. Inside the top is a removable Pop-Off film pocket which holds lots of film and accessories in easy view. In front are two ZipDrop pockets, each with an internal zippered mesh accessory pocket; one can hold our optional TooIPak and the other has a paraphernalia pocket. The EasyGrip carrying handle and Piggy-Back Pocket provide carrying ease. All this combines to make an excellent general purpose bag for the working photographer.

Good but not great

This is the first camera bag I've purchased in 20 years. My Lowepro was looking shabby and had one broken zipper after two decades of use so I decided to replace it. The current Lowepro line up didn't offer what I was looking for but this Tamrac looked workable.It appears to be well made. I underestimated the size of this bag. A Canon 60D with a 28-105 lens takes up 2/3 of the interior. The two front pockets are designed so that if you open the zippers completely the entire contents will spill out. A short zipper just across the top of each pocket would have been better. The bag is well padded and provides a fair degree of protection from jarring and bumping.The main compartment has a zipper and also is secured by four plastic snap buckles. With the bag completely closed the contents are well protected from rain. The lid has a removable plastic pocket that snaps in place. I can snap out the pocket and bring filters and such with me if I'm moving but don't want to bring the entire bag.I can't really fault this bag in any area but I can't bring myself to really love it either. I don't believe it is as durable as my last bag. Maybe after 6 months it will grow on me.
