The Gilmour flexogen garden hose features a specially compounded cover that is soft and extremely flexible at subfreezing temperatures. It will also resist damage from weather, fungus, and atmospheric pollution and abrasion. The two-layer, polyester-cord-reinforced, high-burst-strength construction withstands 500 pounds psi. Over 500 PSI burst strength. Strong enough to hold the highest pressure on the hottest days. Lightweight, coils and handles easily in all weather. Flow guard Plus protective collar on 5/8 and 1/2 hoses resists kinks at faucet. Maximum kink resistance.

good & plenty

I like the quality of this hose. It's hard to kink, and feels nice & sturdy. And for my purpose it's nice to have the great big length.I put fittings on it -- the Gilmour Green Thumb ones I reviewed somewhere -- and it's all working well.Also, now that I got this, I see that it's the exact same type as one other hose I got 5 or 6 years ago. ( I have a lot of hose around here. ) And that one I left outside for several years, year-round. It's still doing fine, just a little mold or something on it. It was sort of buried under tall dead grass for a few years. Still works great.
