It's very precise and sharp. Works great. Grit line and blade seems very straight too. Can cut just as good from top or bottom of the cutter.

Bought this for my wife (crafter extraordinaire) for Christmas. Let's just say that it was just what Santa ordered! It is heavy and impressively built - just like the ones I remember in the school office from my childhood (except that they now come with a safety bar to prevent Billy from inadvertently trimming his finger nails). This is a life-time purchase. It can be handed down as a family heirloom. If you need the best paper trimmer, this is it. And yes, I looked at ALL of them.
