Load Handler Cargo Unloader

This product claims to be able to unload up to 3000 lb. of almost any type of material one would usually carry in the bed of a pickup truck. For many light loads such as 500-600 lbs. of fireplace sized logs, this product worked very well. However, when I tried to unload about one ton (2000 lb.) of fill dirt from my pickup, the product was unable to handle it. I had to shovel some of the dirt out before the load handler was able to remove the rest. And, this was with a plastic liner beneath the load handler's fabric to reduce friction. In conclusion, I like this product for moving light loads, but am very disappointed that it can not handle nearly the amount claimed.

Load Handler 2000lb

I ordered the load handler 2000M for my 2007 F150 Flareside that I use for a work truck on a regular basis. I'm constantly loading cutoffs into my truck and needed a way to quickly unload. This is a great product for that! I recently got about 2 ton of rock and brick in the back and my truck was feeling the weight. I had the load handler down before I loaded and tried to stay away from the side of the truck. It worked exceptionally well for the weight. The trick with this product is to keep the load from getting caught on the sides of the truck. As far as taking it on and off the truck, it takes a little over a minute and a half to put on and 20 seconds to take off. One concern I had before ordering was that I couldn't find what the tarp material was made of...It is like a very thick gunny sack for any farmers out there and that holds up well. Overall very happy with product for the price.

Pretty good

Works well for small loads; they say it's rated for 3000 pounds but that must be some ideal lab test because I have to shovel about 1/2 my loads of compost or sand out before it will go, and I bent the handle cranking on it! I have a box for my truck that holds 8 yards of chips so it doesn't touch that until it is mostly gone. You could just get smaller loads and it would work, but that doesn't make a lot of sense... Nonetheless it is helpful for the leftover amount (hardest part to shovel) and it is beautiful when it does work.
