Great bag but BEWARE

I loved this bag when I bought it but during a recent airline trip the bag was checked and loaded onto the plane in the pouring rain. Even though the zippers were closed tightly, the rain leaked through the bag and everything inside was soaked. On the way home, the bag was placed on the ground in a small puddle and the same thing happened. Water leaked into the bag and soaked everything on the bottom. These are great bags if the weather is good but do beware if you plan to use it in bad weather or check it on the airlines where you have no control over where it is placed. They are not waterproof. The advertisements say "water resistent" and I am not sure what that means but my bag certainly did not resist the rain. Our other bags that were handled in the same manner were all dry inside.

Perfect Size and Great Compartments!

This Kipling was exactly what I needed for my gym workouts. I needed something that had an open, unobstructed internal compartment but yet areas to hold my blow dryer,hairspray, brush (on one end compartment) and my makeup, toiletries and other sundries (other end). This fits my clothes for work, shoes, towel and even my work lunch box. It's a great bag. Well constructed, just the right size and serves its purpose perfectly. Yes, it's expensive but well worth it. Would also make a great overnight/away bag!

This is a great graduation gift. We have given this bag for years. Anyone who receives the bag tell us over & over how much they have loved carrying it. KIPLING, what more do you need to say. Looks good and great quality. We love the rolling duffel also.
