Waiting on the item. Shipping was VERY slow

Ordered from Amazon through Stacks and Stacks. After waiting and waiting, and two non-callbacks from Stacks and Stacks, this bookcase was finally shipped 25 days after I ordered it. It is supposed to arrive on Tuesday. I hope the quality is what I expect. It is hard to find a good media cabinet/bookcase that is solidly built and not too deep.I don't like bookcases that are 12 to 14 frickin' inches deep -- my trade paperbacks are about 6x9 inches, so I wanted a media cabinet/bookcase that was about 8 inches deep. A 12 inch deep bookcase is overkill for books that are 6 inches deep. Even my hardcover books are only 7.5 inches deep. I know that the stability of the unit is an issue, but I know how to handle that.And I hate shelves that sag after a year. My other complaint with standard bookcases is that they all need one extra shelf added. My books are not 15 inches tall! So I am hoping this item will do the trick.I know this item is a media cabinet, not a bookcase, so I plan to put some CDs in it, just to keep the universe happy...I'll post again when this arrives. If you order this, don't expect fast shipping.Update: Item arrived, looks good. The back panel is a fraction of an inch too long (top to bottom) to fit neatly into the place for it on the back. (The back is not completely flat; there is a nice indentation where the back panel should fit.) A minor point.It looks sturdy so far. As long as the shelves don't sag under the weight of CDs and small paperback books, things will be great.

Very nice DVD/ Blue-ray storage unit!

I order this unit 2 days ago, it will be my third one. My first two were ordered from other sites but they are all made by "Wood Technology". So as long as it's not damaged in route, I'm sure I will be just as happy with this one as I was with the other 2.I collect DVDs, Blue-rays & CDs and these media Storage Cabinets were made to order. The adjustable shelves make it possible for it to also hold VHS tape (for those of us who still have a few :-)) or any combination of the different types of media. They're well built, look good and take up a lot less space than others units in this category.I just wish they didn't cost so much.Oh Well!
